Can these fit on my car? I have coilovers, and use hoosier 245-40-17 rs305 race tires on the track. The falken Azenas 615 245-45-17's are hitting the fender wheels. Currently there is only 1 finger of clearance between the tires and the sidewall. Please help, I am not sure what to do next. The coilovers that I am using are the Racecomp Tarmac II's.

switch to something different like the falken 452's in a 245/40R17 and ull be fine or youll need to go with the 615's in the 235. Im waiting to see if they ever come out with the 615's in a 245/40R17 :-(

Im running the 245-45/17 RT615s with RCE springs on my 06 STI and have no clearance issues. When my front camber is set to -2.5 up front I will get a little bit of tire rub up in the inner fender when making a turn into a banked driveway but its very minimal and surely isnt causing any damage. Is your car set very low? What are your camber settings?

What wheels are you using? You have a couple of choices to fit them, because that isn't even an extreme size...

Get higher offset wheels
More camber
More ride height

Front or rear, or both? What are you using for camber plates in the front? Raise it up a little.

Yea just raise your car up! Ive been running them with no problem! You need to have a front ride height of 14" in the front if you plan on racing (auto-x or track events) on them and not rubbing the fender lining. You can get away with about 13.5" in the rear. These are fender to center of wheel measurements.

Thanks BDI. I appreciate the info. I was about to sell the damn tires! :)

Good grief Barret.

Where exactly is the tire hitting? Your original post is difficult to comprehend. Also, what wheel are you using, and what offset?

FWIW, I had 245/45-17 615 under my '04 with no rubbing issues.

I can't tell what's going on in this thread?

What wheels? Width? Offset?

What spring rates?

What swaybars?

Exactly what ride height?

What alignment?

245/45 Azenis definitely will fit, because I have a set on my car right now. They only rub my unrolled rear fender when I have passengers in the back.
