As part of an inevitable head gasket problem, I'm leaking a little bit of coolant...

It's coming from the driver side head gasket. It's not enough to leave ANY in the driveway, but enough to have the under carriage to be slightly wet and blow back onto the floor pan.

I was a browsing through SubaruParts.com and ran into BG Cooling System Sealer and was wondering if this might buy me some time... I'm working on either a re-build or a swap, but the funds are not in proper alignment for me to do this now... I also see Subaru coolant conditioner... and it states: Conditioner designed for sealing external leaks on phase two 2.5L motors at every coolant change.

I know it's on it's way out and i know i need to do something soon, or I'm looking at a straight up swap... just hoping to buy some time is all.

how many miles do you have and was the coolant conditioner recall wwp-99 done on your vehicle.

that would have extended the coverage on external head gasket leaks.

I have 135k and no, no wwp-99 done...

you can try using the subaru coolant conditioner and see if it works thats what it is for.
