On Thursday April 26th Continental Subaru Service and Parts invites everyone again from NASIOC to our forth Outlaw Night of the 2007 season. Same as the time before we will be extending the service and parts hours for NASIOC members only from 5pm to 9pm. As last time as well this is for people itching to get some mods installed on their car and we will again be offering discounted labor rates and 15% off parts (not including COBB or Rally Armor)(See parts for details).

The Theme
The theme of this event with autocross and the 1/4 track opening up soon will be tune ups and alignments. We are gearing this event towards those also getting the professional tune from PDX in May.

Special Notice
For those on Nasioc taking advantage of PDX sending a tuner to AKIC, we are offering special packages to get your vehicle tuned up at a great price so your engine is running at its best for the tuner when he arrives. The packages will include replacement of spark plugs, fuel filter (applicable on certain models only) fuel injector and intake system cleaning as well as new air filter (if applicable to your setup). You can not afford to pass up this great opportunity to get your car tuned up. Please PM Mavrik or call him at 261-0602 or PM Getagrip or call him at 261-0633 for prices on these tune-ups. We will need to know well in advance those wishing to take advantage of this opportunity so we can get an order for parts placed in time for outlaw night. The cut off for this will be on April 18th due to the need to order parts.

Work will be performed by reservations made so please call Phil at 261-0602 or Jake at 261-0633. Otherwise PM Mavrik or Getagrip to schedule an reservation. If you call and speak to Phil or Jake, mention it is for Outlaw night so we can schedule you differently from the rest of our appointments for that day. We will be providing service work such as alignments, suspension work (springs, sway bars, end links etc), tires, brakes, as well as performance parts like Cobb and SPT. There will also be refreshments available. This will be from 5pm to 9pm on Thursday April 26th Jerry (00maddog) Dale (ScoobyTec), and Alex (GrinderAK) will be performing the work. Mike (tribalwrx) will be in parts.

The fine details:
Refreshments will be provided (Eric's famous burgers)
Appointments required
Hourly labor rate $80 an hour
Alignment price out the door $59.95 (camber bolt kits/coil overs will be extra but at the discounted labor price)
15% discount on all Subaru/SPT parts over the counter to NASIOC members ONLY this night ONLY.
COBB and Rally Armor parts and accessories will remain at regular pricing with no shipping charges for in stock and ordered items.
You will not be able to work on your vehicle with the techs but we will allow everyone to hang out in a designated spot in the shop so they can see their cars being worked on.
Due to safety reasons you will not be allowed to work on your car or be under it when it is being worked on.
This is an official meet sponsored by Continental Subaru so all NASIOC members are welcome to attend even if you do not have anything to be worked on.
Estimates will be honored at Outlaw night prices even if work is not performed. As long as it was written on Outlaw night.

More details and specials to follow so stay tuned folks, this thread will be updated. Available hours for that night can also fill up fast so if you would like something done, the sooner it is scheduled guarantees you a spot that night.

i can mark 0 camber on the plates but you could run -1.0 to -1.5 camber without bad tire wear. but if you change the camber that will change the toe. so you dont want to change the settings unless you know how it will change the toe

Toe, from my understanding and lack of automotive lingo, changes the "twitchy-ness" or responsiveness. More equals better turn in? less equals more stable at high speeds. IIRC

yeah but that's minute toe adjustments. changing the camber 1-2 degrees on top will result in a large toe change, past what you'd consider an improvment in handling. more like tires gone in a week or so.

Hometown, yes, its ok to show up. My opinion speaking out of my rear is it is open to pretty much anyone on nabisco. Or rather Subie enthusiasts if you will. Conti is doign this as a way to reach the community and provide its services at a discuounted rate with those enthusiasts. I do not however think it is widely advertised on the front of the building proclaiming "outlaw night" to attract EVERYONE.

yea, I kinda snapped a few puttin on the rear flaps, at first its cause I didnt have any instructions and broke 2 snaps thinkin they go on farther then they did, then the last one just happened to not like me. I love the friggin look though with the mud flaps on there, just hate them grinding on my driveway everytime I come home cause its so low, lol. Didnt think I would like the lowered look, but its pulled me in!

Mine scrape on everything too even at stock hight. I was nervous at first about them getting torn off but they've been proven.

Yeah, I got my suspension work done, it is definately a go on the alignment. Seems to drive straight still, wierd. I had that puppy half way apart and was moving it around a bunch. Self aligning subaru. >>

A note to all those planning to attend tonight. We are having a tent set up for the bbq and everyone will be able to park along the wall of the building next to continental (south side) so you can all get together over there. another great turn out, thanks everyone who showed up. Great outdoor tent meet n greet and got a lot of stuff done to. And we got done at about 10pm instead of the 10:30 to midnight some of them have been going to. anyone got pics? I was to busy to get many.

well my vehicle type didn't have a suggested camber setting or sumn weird like that...so he said it might be a lil off but not enough to worry about or really be able to tell...damn mistu (*looks over in cars direction* "i love you baby" lol)
