How much boost should you run on a stage 3 basemap? I'm currently running 16.5 because that is what stage 2 runs. I cant seem to find what boost you are supposed to run on stage 3. Also about how fast should a stage 3 go 1/4 mile?

I am guessing Stage 3 is Stage 2 + Bigger intercooler? Depends on how hard you want to push the turbo. You should be able to get over 20 psi in the midrange but it'll have to taper down pretty hard in the higher rpms.

I thought the td04 maxed out at 17-18lbs of boost. Do you think it is capable of pulling a 13.6 at the track? I'm gonna run 100 octane also So I guess I can turn the boost up a tad. The reason for all of this is because this guy at my work was talking trash on my car so I called him out to the track. His best time ever was a 13.7.

^^Wrong, the TD04 can do well over 20psi. Some are even pushing 22 psi.

Sounds like your friend sucks as a driver. A good stage 2 tune should be able to get into the 12s. Could be a bad tune too. With high octane you could actually make more power by running leaner AFR and more timing than turning up the boost and pushing higher temperature air into the engine.

You are talking about a wrx??? 12's I highly doubt it unless its a super aggressive tune. The fmic is killing me right now cause im running the stock turbo im goin to upgrade very soon just want to see just how bad the fmic killed me. Dude it doesnt pull as hard as it did at all. It used to slam your head in the back of the seat, now it does it with ease.

It's all depending on the tune. On my Stage 2 STi, the tuner set it up for 20psi. However, I'm running less timing than the base Stage 2 map.
