so i'm not that great with computers. Would anyone mind helping me out with the latest update for the ap v2. I have not done the first update yet, so as far as i know i do have to flash back to stock before i can do this. I have downloaded the files from Cobb's website, so after i uninstall the AP from my car what do i do to get the updates on the AP?

Run the file you just downloaded and it should update the AP Manager first. Once that is complete, sync your AP to the AP Manager and click on help. It should state "Install latest firmware to the Accessport". If you are updating the AP Manager version 1.0.1, it will take over a half hour to update the AP firware so don't think its frozen. It will take awhile to update. There are some quirks I encountered once I tried marrying the AP back to the car. Let me know if you encounter those.

Thankyou for the tips. But with my luck i ran into a problem before i could even get that far. When i tried to uninstall the AP from the car by using the uninstall option from the menu it said that the vehicle could not be identified. Should i just flash married stock mode as the base map? Or do i need to use uninstall in order to do the updates?

the key has to be "on" to recognize the vehicle. I'm doing the same thing now. you do have to uninstall first. then follow instructions on cobb's site.

whenever you load a base map, install or uninstall the green test connectors need to be connected

I had the test connecters together with the key turned on and the white initialization plug in as well. The AP still said it could not identify the vehicle. Anyone else have this problem?

in the manual it says that if it can't be identified, there's a way your vehicle. Sorry don't have my ap instruction booklet in front of me
