did you have the initialization connector plugged in with the test connectors?

yeah i tried it with the initialization connector and test connectors, just test connectors, and just the initialization connector.
Also, in cobb's AP v2 manual it doesnt mention anything about the test connectors of the initialization connector when uninstalling the AP, only installing it.

did you ever get your car into test mode ?
once you connect the green connectors and the initialization connector
their should be a flashing check engine light and your fans and fuel pump should start cycling.
If that occurs you are in test mode.......

1. put key in off position
2. connect green connectors
3.turn key into on position without the starting car on (at this point the check engine light shold be blinking)
4.fans and fuel pump should start cycling at this point.
THIS IS A NORMAL FUNCTION OF TEST MODE
5.Once this has occured connect plug to your AP then the other end to your OB connector on the bottom of your steering wheel.
At this point the AP will ask you to pick a base map to flash into your ECU.
After this just follow the AP screen or just download the user guid from the cobbtuning website
GOOD LUCK

not to bring up an old thread, but unfortunately my friend has the same situation. he forgot to plug in the green connectors and the white initialization connector and tried to uninstall.
when he did that it failed.
Then we read this thread and when he followed the instructions, it still states" flash failed" for the uninstall and now he only has 2 options " uninstall and sync pc.
any of you gurus can assist on what we must do?
Thanks
Thank god I dont have this problem, hehe.
please help guys.

Try a hard re-set, disconnect the battery for 15 min and step on the brakes a few times and see if that changes anything.

its not working....
anyone else that can assist me and my friend?h
I was having this problem with my V1, after carefully reading the instructions I noticed the statement "Verify that all accessories are turned off (radio, dome light, FANS, headlights etc...)" So I got my battery nice and charged then pulled the fuse for the fan and the flash worked.
Good luck
