Hey i have a 04 wrx stage with the AP hooked up, blah blah.....

1) Is it safe to unhook battery terminal ? Or can i just reset ECU from the AP? But will that erase my stage 2 map?

2) I believe it is the last option, read boost PSI ...do i leave that hooked up while driving to read that?

Yes, you can drive with it plugged in, you just need to be carefull not to get snaged on the cable as it hangs down WAY to much for my likeing .

^ Would any harm be cause to the AP while reading the live boost if it does get disconnected while driving?

If the AP does get disconnected while driving and is in the show boost mode there should be no problems, if it happens while changeing rt maps "on the fly" that would not be good, but probly save-able by doing a hard re set. If the AP gets disconnected while changeing base maps that is going to be a major problem, I don't even move while I do that, I even try to control my breathing to a steady state of forced calmness...

resetting your ecu wont clear erase your map but it will erase all learned info for your map. which doesnt mean anything cept you just have to let your car relearn it all
