Hi folks,
Just a quick question for those who have dealt with Daniel Stern Lighting, is he commonly a bit slow to process orders? I emailed him, and then I put in my actual order over his phone ordering number, for security reasons. I heard nothing back for a few days, so I shot him an email. Still no word after about a week, and no charges have been assessed to my credit card.
So the question is, is he normally this slow, or should I be worried, or is he just out for a few days?

he was quick when I ordered bulbs from him a few years back. I recentl emailed him for a new set and waited 2 months with no reply before I just ordered elsewhere.

I beleave he is a one man opp... Might tak awile, i Emailed an inquire and it took like a week to get a reply, saying he would get back to with the actual inquire in a few days....
so yeah, he's slow... try calling the non-order line??

I ordered from him 2 weeks ago. Got a response almost immediately with "order will go out tomorrow." It wasn't. However, I noticed a charge on my card on like Sunday, and I got my bulbs yesterday. A little slow perhaps, but in the grand scheme of things, what's a few more days?

It's not a biggy, I was just wondering. It seems that he is chronically slow, so I will wait patiently this time. Next time I will probably just order from Susquehanna Motorsports.

I didn't mean to sound like I thought you were being impatient or anything. I know I'm absolutely terrible when the UPS guy is bringing me a new toy (or I've ordered it, even before it ships). My thing was really that Daniel Stern was very helpful to me, and that earned him my business. I'll give him a little slack. I'd imagine (with of course no way to know for sure) that he's pretty swamped; a lot of people on these forums (and others I've seen) recommend him really highly...

Oh yeah, no worries bro. I wasn't trying to be defensive, I understood your intent.
I agree, he is incredibly helpful and informative, and filled me in on information about products that aren't even listed on his webpage.

In my case, he was out of town but it took a couple weeks to get my bulbs.
As other's have mentioned, he was extremely helpful and informative though...

I found him informative, but slow. I decided to order elsewhere instead of waiting an indeterminate amount of time for him to respond.
