Superorb - the gauges do not do an opening sweep but they have race proven sending units and fully adjustable warning lights. These match the 04+ WRX dash in day and night and are absolutely accurate and responsive. What more can you ask for :)

I got my ATI Gauge hood today, oddly I wasn't expecting it until tomorrow and a package I was expecting today did not arrive. It looks like the gauges should arrive tomorrow since they left the Sacracmento station at 9:00 this morning and I live about 4 hours from Sac.

Some of these have wingnuts, some of them hexnuts. I wish all of them came with wing nuts, in the cramped confines of the gauge pod it made it a little harder to cinch the hexnuts down where the wingnuts are small enough to fit and easier to turn.

I really like the sensor hardware, very nice quality. I bought some Megan Racing gauges for my turbo Miata and the quality of sensor connections is VERY appearant. I'm glad I spent the money on good gauges and will more than likely purchase a full complement to go into the Miata as well.

Can you please respond to my PM Thiason. I PM'd you early this morning and haven't received a response, but your last activity was 20 minutes ago. I'd like to resolve this since you're in CA and it takes over a week for any items to get to me in FL.

firedog25 - thanks for the pic. I will talk with Omori about just going back to the hexnuts for the gauges. Believe it or not, they made the change to the wing nuts for great ease in installation. It's one less tool you need to tighten down the brackets. But you are not the only one to point out the preference to go back to hex nuts.

Actually I was saying I liked the wingnuts better and wished all of them came with wingnuts. :) SO much easier installing in that gauge pod or in those pillar mounts. I don't suppose there's any way of telling what has wing or hex when you ship them out is there?

how does the DIN plate attatch to the stock bracket? is it just with those 4 screws i can see that hold into into the pod?
