Currently have an AP/ST that is tuned for my current setup which is GT30 .82 with 50/50 Alky injection. Was never super happy with my initial results, some what the fault of myself and some what the fault of the tuning shop IMO. Regardless am installing some new parts and will need to get retuned. My decision on tuner will be based on my EM final decision, also would like to change boost controller using AP, have a DTEC that is unhooked (tuner did not want to use it) but will kind of leave that up to what the tuner is good at using so I don't go through what I did last time.

Used to have a UTEC so I am fine with going back, like the addition of the SD, like personally tuning with it vs ST partially due to the better community support. If I stick with the AP I would like to go blow thru so I can redo the intake.

Also I am not opposed to going with a Hydra but don't know who tunes it in the area . Don't really have the time to tune it my self right due to work/family ect.

I think you should go with the UTEC and Speed density. You already said you liked it and prefered to tune on it. SD tuning is easy. You should use both the AP/ST and the UTEC however to get the best results.

If I went with a UTEC I would leave the AP base map on the ECU and use the UTEC to tune over that.
