View Full Version : FS (CT): MadDad gauges, Alpine+Polk audio, Gauge pod
Vikingmoose 04-23-2007, 08:39 PM I have the following for sale. All items are used except for the bezel gauge pod. I bought most of these with the intention of installing them but my priorities have changed and wouldn't mind having the cash instead. PM or post with any questions, etc. Pics upon request.
1. MadDad V2 Ti Gauges. Sold!
2. Polk Audio db6500 component speakers. Has some wiring and spacers, but you will probably want to get new spacers and hardware. Very well liked speakers with lots of good reviews. $115 shipped
3. Alpine CDA-9847 HU, KCA-420i iPod adapter and DIN pocket. Had these installed in my old WRX but am using a differnt setup now. HU should work with all Impreza models but buyer's responsibility to check fitment. The DIN pocket is just a generic pocket I bought at Circuit City. I drilled a hole in the back to route the iPod cable through. Looking to get $175 shipped for the whole setup. I have all the original boxes including cables, manuals, etc.
4. eBay 2-gauge Bezel Gauge Pod. Sold!
Feel free to PM or post with any questions, etc. I can post pics upon request. Thanks for looking!

Superorb 04-23-2007, 09:05 PM DIBS on the bezel pod. Does it come with the hardware? Pics of the pod please.
Vikingmoose 04-23-2007, 09:14 PM You use your stock hardware for the pod. Just take off the stock one and put on this one. Will get pics posted within a day or two...maybe even tonight.
Superorb 04-23-2007, 09:16 PM What's your paypal address?

anthonyrb98 04-23-2007, 11:00 PM how much did you sell the bezel pod for?
Wrx1234 04-24-2007, 12:35 AM so you dont know if the gauges work?
Vikingmoose 04-24-2007, 08:46 PM ^No, I can't personally confirm the gauges work. :(
anthonyrb98 - Pod sold at $25 shipped.
Vikingmoose 04-25-2007, 09:35 PM Bump for MadDad gauges and audio gear.
es-t-eye18 04-26-2007, 02:35 PM would you be willing to sell the maddad boost gauge seperately ?
Scooby_Wong 04-26-2007, 02:41 PM what size are the speakers? will fit fit rears?
Vikingmoose 04-26-2007, 11:38 PM es-t-eye18 - I'll sell the Boost alone, but only if I have buyers for the other guages/pod.
Scooby_Wong - Speakers are 6-1/2" components with x" tweeters (standard size, check any car audio website for further info). I can't personally confirm fitment in the rear doors, but I'm sure a search in the Audio/Video/Security forum would turn up answers.
Vikingmoose 04-26-2007, 11:39 PM NOTE: I will be out of town until Tuesday. I will respond to any PM's and/or posts then.
Vikingmoose 05-01-2007, 10:37 PM Bumping! Lowered all prices because I'm feeling nice. :)

Vikingmoose 05-07-2007, 09:40 PM Looking to sell the gauges and pod together. I'll split them up if I have buyers for both.

Vikingmoose 05-08-2007, 04:19 PM Gauges and pod sold! Bump for some audio stuff.
rezs2jen 05-08-2007, 05:57 PM thanks =)
wrxfactor 05-15-2007, 08:02 PM Will those speakers work in the front doors of an 02 WRX? I'm a huge audio noob of course; would I be able to install these by myself?
Vikingmoose 05-15-2007, 09:04 PM Yes the speakers will fit up front, but you should probably get some new spacers. IAPerformance seems to be the popular choice. As far as wiring, I'm not comfortable doing that stuff myself so I was going to have a shop do it, or another forum member. There are plenty of How-To's should you choose to be daring.

Alright, as these are components, does that mean that it is two speakers and two tweeters?
Vikingmoose 05-16-2007, 10:28 PM Yep - (2) midwoofers(?) and (2) tweeters. You'll need an amp for these (ideally).

Alright, I figured that. I'll try to see if I can dig up some money to pick up an amp; in the meantime, good luck on the sale and if these are here in 2-3 weeks I will probably scoop them up.

Vikingmoose 05-20-2007, 08:48 PM I PM's you to figure this out.
