If this guy sends you a tracking number, CALL the delivery service and inform them that you were scammed.

Called the Texas police 2 secs ago;)

They told me I have to file locally. I have to go away for the weekend, but I spoke to a local officer (a friend actually - Im an emt with the local fire dept) and she told me to come in on Monday to start the file.

She also said the plate # is an excellent start on finding this guy.

Well my purchase should have been from Bobby himself because I made the purchase before the posting by his wife that his mother had been killed. Mine would have been before his roommates started using his account.

Doesnt sound right at all. Whats worst of all if he is lying, to fake a death about his mom. =(

I sent him payment for a manifold that has yet to show...I wasn't aware of his background. My loss wouldn't be as bad as some of you though.

After I saw this thread I sent Bobby an email asking about my manifold. He responded to my email immediately and provided a valid tracking number.

Looks like the tracking numbers he gave me are worling now.

Thats odd. When I flashed his car with an XPT map (Bobby) he was worried about to policia and seemed paranoid a bit. Then he posts insane times for what I logged on his car, but with slips. I believed him the whole time, well, kinda had doubts, but ya know... Then his wife posts that his mother died in Iraq and he was in SC taking care of things for a month or so. I say in the proven power bragging forum I should call him, then he shows back up. He never told me he had any sets of wheels to sell. Thats kinda screwed. I posted in another thread already, but the same is true for me. Bought wheels and tires from wrxmkj (aka Jason Reilly), and never saw them. I did however find a set on ebay originating from the same town in texas and using the same photos to advertise as the ones sent to me for a private sale. I did get an unsolicited phone call from a Robert Morgan just yesterday explaining his situation. Maybe the guy is trying to do right.........according to him, either my wheels w/tires or my cash will be en route to me by middle of this week.

From what I understand, AND from what I was explained, there were 2 different sets of wheels. One from Bobby's car and one from his roommate's car. Bobby's roommate used his paypal account to accept money for the set of wheels he (the roommate) was selling while Bobby was out of town.... Only the roommate got greedy and sold 3 or 4 sets of wheels using Bobby's paypal... So, there should be 2 different sets of pictures...

It is possible Bobby saw the info we have on him and became afraid, but it is also possible he got screwed as well and is really telling the truth...

Either way, we will probably never know anything 100%.

I think its important to be honest here - if Bobby does manage to sort things out, the chance that he was actually trying to scam everyone here loses a lot of plausibility...

When anyone gets an item please post up and let us know - until then (and even after) all we are doing is speculating on the truth, and that really doesnt help anything...

I felt I had to post it as his status as an honest individual was in question at the time and I have actually met him and we have been friends (I flashed a map on his car). Well, he called me again with 2 more tracking numbers that work. So, now I have 4 working tracking numbers. I hope to get the wheels and tires I bought in the next 2 days.

I spoke with Bobby a couple times yesterday and since he does not have all the wheels that the others posted for sale he is refunding my money. He said he had a lot to refund this Friday and would refund some of mine then and the rest next week. I will post when all funds are recovered.

He is reading these boards. ANd told me that he will pay me when he is ready because ive talked bad about him. Im done with it. Tomorrow morning ill leave it up to paypal.

Update: The flat tire is holding air so far. But the one other tire is not usable, I just noticed some cord is showing on the inside edge.

I got the 4th wheel and tire today. The tire is in very bad shape but the wheel is not too bad. So, I got the wheels and tires. But I can only use 2 of the tires and 1 of the wheels is curbed. I hope he gives me a partial refund because these are not the items that were in the listing.

Well, I have received two ranting emails from Bobby about my not backing him up. I was rational w/ him in my responses (explaining that I am a long time member of NASIOC with good member standing, so I had to take a somewhat neutral position, and apologized for several things I have stated in this thread) and he never answered me back. I hope he resolves all of the issues that happened and is allowed back on NASIOC. I am not going to make any more opinions or judgements about this, I am staying out of it as it does not involve me. I do not know Bobby well enough to make any honest opinions about this situation. I just hope he can resolve it all because he seemed like an enthusiast like the rest of us who just fell on hard times. If he doesn't resolve this then come to your own conclusions.

I've lost my patience too. No replies to emails, pms........I've been very patient and understanding of Bobby's "circumstances," But after numerous promises havn't seen or heard anything. The next step for me is legal action. I hate to go this route but I don't have any other recourse.

After all that he has lied to me about I am beginning to believe he also lied about his mother's death to put us off. None of his promises about sending me money have come true.

Well, the Internet Crime Complaint Bureau has the full report and links to this site (which is public record). I held out as long as possible thinking that when someone tries to do right they should be afforded every opportunity. I like many others have given you the benefit of doubt for far too long, and you keep abusing it. I am sorry that I advocated for you with other members here early on..............

Well I have contacted the Ingleside police department and had my attorney write a letter. I will let everyone know my results and please advise the list if you have any help in making Bobby pay up.

I am posting this to let you know I have filed the complaint with the Ingleside Police Dept and with our local Sheriff's office because of needing to file in the victim's jurisdiction. I will not give names but will PM you with the details. If he does not pay then the commonwealth will have him extridited to VA with a summons.

Just to let everyone know I have worked with local police detective and Ingleside detective and am informed that Bobby has 9 warrants out for him and he has gone into hiding.

Ok all just so I can make this right Rob did sent me all my stuff and I received it last week. He is a good guy to deal with and stayed in contact with me the whole time even when I know I called him at least 100 time a day (not joking) I would buy something from him again just hope it would get to me a little faster. Still have not recieved my turbo yet actually, as of this morning it still has not been mailed out.

Still no shipping confirmation number. I was told that it was sent out on Monday but, then again I was told the same thing about 2 weeks ago! :mad::furious:

Well I guess that my turbo has finally been shipped as of a earlier this week. I also finally got a tracking/confirmation number on the 10th however....
