NASIOC and the demented minds at The Monkey's Trunk have a special spot reserved at the Rim Of The World Rally in Lancaster, CA. Starting tomorrow we will have games, prizes, models and more so be sure to stop by and meet some of the staff as well as some fellow "monkey's".

Be sure to make a special trip on Sunday April, 29th as from 12-5pm we will have the lovely Ms. Noelle Lyn gracing our booth for photographs and more. You may remember her from the cover of our first issue though we promise we will not allow her to have any swords in the booth.

So be sure to swing by and say hi as we will also be looking for feature cars as well so be sure to polish up that street car or get that autocross or rally car ready for anything.

Does anybody have a high res photo of the picture in this add? The picture is so ridicously bad! I would love to have that as my desktop background. Thanks!

While we agree the course wasn't the best option they were sort of left with the short end of the stick and scrambling to make the event enjoyable. There is rumor that they will be running some forest stages next year though they should be better planned for it since they got the news about the forest service pulling the permit 4 months before the event.

That photo is from last years event I believe. I can see if some of our staff have similar hi-res versions available. I know we had some of "reccee02" taking lift-off over the entire jump last year.

An old thead but sad to see Forest permits were pulled. This is a common practice as the Enviro's tend to wait until last minutes to challenge the issuing of such permits by the FS and thus no time to fight it and it gets pulled so the FS does not take on penalties.
I would love to see a forest stage and plan on getting dirty when the Subie makes it into the garage.
