Hi all,
I just picked up my new 2.5RS sedan last week and I almost have the required 1600 sensible Km's on it. http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smile.gif
Where are some fun places to drive in the Ottawa area?

hi, if I am not mistaken, there is a mountain side road (kind of) in Hull near Guateau. I forgot the name of the road but it's fun to drive there.

Rockliffe Parkway isn't a bad drive- from St.Joseph to the look-out point. Gotta watch the speed though, RCMP is out there occaisionally... http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/wink.gif
Gatineau Hills are always nice, but I haven't been up there in a while..
What colour is your ride? And have you checked out NCSC yet? http://www.ottawasubaru.com

Van,
The best places are on the quebec side... I like the look-out point near Chelsea...
You should come out to our next meeting (May 11th) at 7pm (Lansdowne Parking lot) or if raining, at 8pm (895 MexiCala's rosa).
If you want, I can add you to our mailing list. Let me know.

North on Metcalfe (around the museum) is one of my favorite places to have fun. Just make sure you don't cut off the cops as they are heading back for their doughnuts.
Anything in the Gatineau Hills.
Secret road from Mont Cascade golf course to Edelweiss (remember that road Robin!?).
Hey Robin,
Do you think this is enough interests to set-up the TSD light we were planning before? Those were some fun roads!

I'm sure we could have a light Tsd set up for early June or even late may.... That road between ski hills was great!
Gatineau are lots of fun... but nothing compared at the Charlevoix rally... Those were crazy roads. I miss those especially since I killed the guy with a 99 Acura Legend (from Vermont) in Malbaie or Clermont... I can't remember... which one but the road were nasty!

Van,
I found another good place to have fun with your new RS.
Heron Road east to the Bronson/Riverside exit and follow this until you get to Riverside. This is a fun place to loose a lot of cars, but be careful, to corners are decreasing radius and the curbs aren't friendly.
Robin,
We should bring this up at the meeting on Thursday and see what type or response we get...

Ha, I used to study in Carleton and I miss driving my Civic on the roads that you guys mentioned... Fun old days with nothing to worry about except school. If I have a chance I'll coming back and pay a visit with my Subaru!
