Ok i have a 04 wrx and put in a 6 speed swap everything works great except when u step on the gas right hard builds boost quickly it will take off but then u can feel it slip a little bit. I was told to adjust the clutch rod above the gas pedal under neath the dash, would this cause my slave cylinder not to be coming out far enough to make my cutch slip a little?? MY car has been sent away to get re tuned so when i get it back im goin to try and adjusting it. I was told from the guy that i bought the swap from with a 5 speed car you got to adjust this, for different tension on a 6speed car. Is this correct?? Thanks. Also im using my ACT Clutch from my wrx but he said that was fine!! Clutch isnt that old so i wouldnt think its the disc slipping allready???

Something else to consider is whether or not you have the correct throwout bearing in there.

Is there any play where the slave cylinder contacts the clutch fork? If it is very tight then maybe there is always a slight amount of pressure on the clutch fork keeping the clutch from engaging fully. Adjusting the rod would fix it.

I seriously doubt thats the issue though.

yes the slave cylinder sits against the clutch fork at all times and i was told from the subby guys i bought all my stuff from that i am supose to adjust this rod to make the clutch stop slipping. I never got my car back yet from being tuned hopefully in a week ill have it and try it then. Just wanted to know if anyone else had this problem???
