ok i just got my build together, cp 8.2:1 pistons, manley rods, brand new sti crank, acl race bearings, fully ported heads, ferrera valves, brian crower ti retainers & springs, crower 272 cams and i have VERY little compression on ALL cylinders... what can it be? HELP. -:devil:

Sounds to me like your valves arent seating or your cams arent in line. Just exactly how "low" is your compression?

Do a leak down test and see where the air is coming from (intake, exhaust, oil breathers). That will give you a starting point.
Assuming you have rings installed, on a new build I would be inclined to first look at the valves, valve lash and cam timing.

i'm thinkin my timing belt tensioner didn't tension when i pulled the pin. it's the only thing i didn't triple check and am now kicking myself. heads were fully setup by the shop that did the porting. he tested them and everything and timing was dead on when i put the covers on so i'm thinkin this is the problem. i will be checking it out tonight and HOPEFULLY it's that simple and i dont have any bent valves since they were $400. i'll keep you posted. rings are the ones that came with the pistons, brand new, and were installed correctly and triple checked with the booklet.
