i tried searching this, but i really didnt find what i was looking for. i need to load my base map for my injectors that my tuner sent to me. i connect the ap, uploaded the map manager program, and when i try to connect the AP to the computer, it wont find it. it keeps saying to make sure its in sync mode, and i check the COM on my computer and they are working and fine and not being used, and it still wont connect. i even called cobb and they made me dl the newer map manger for accessport V1 and that didnt work. i was going to call back but they were closed. anyone have any ideas that i can try till tomorrow? i really dont want to have to send my accessport to them because im getting my car tuned soon...so i NEED to have it to get to the tuner. any ideas? wtf?

the ap was already married to my car, i have another map loaded onto it. should i try to unmarry it and then hold the arrow keys, and then try it that way to sync it?

found out what the problem was, just in case anyone ever has this problem. the cable i picked up wasnt a Null Modem cable. it HAS to be that. i had to buy an adapter which made it one and it worked fine.

where did youfind a null modem cable?

radioshacks wires are not nullmodem, to my knowledge. mine wasnt, and then i had to buy an adapter for it. unless they had ones, just make sure when you go there ask for one, because if they dont have it you will need the adapter.
