Here's the deal. I am parting out a 2000 BRP 2.5 RS that has had some flood damage. Most of the parts that you would want are probably exterior parts because most of the interior was ruined. It sat for about 5 months after the flood and surprisingly enough we actually got the engine to start and idle. It has not been driven however because the rear drivers side wheel bearing was being replaced at the time of the flood and never got fully back together. The bearing has been pressed by a shop and is ready to go but most of the parts for the hub assembly are still in the trunk. It can roll a ways so it can be towed easily or put on a flatbed but I would not recommend driving it.

I can part out or the easiest option for me would be if someone wants to make an offer on the whole car and take it away. Otherwise it is going to the junk yard and I would hate to see an RS meet that end. This would make an awesome rally car or a swapped track racer if someone wants to put in the wrench time. Someone please make me an offer, I am very open. Buyer must pick up, the car is located at Smart Service up in Lake Forest Park. If no one wants the whole thing then I will part out and junk the rest. I can get pics up soon, I just need to find my camera. PM with questions and offers. Thanks.

Yeah, sorry guys, its not my car it is my brothers. I think I would be crying right now if the rsti died. It is bone stock and there is some minor exterior damage from mountain driving, making it a perfect rally project. I'll get pics up soon so you can get a better feel.

Also, if someone wants the whole thing, I might be open to some interesting trades, gc8 stuff in particular.

OK, time for an UPDATE:


Some time has been spent on it at the shop and we actually got it running and driveable. We did a lot of work to the rear hub assembly and the engine turns over and will drive. I cannot garuntee that there are any more electrical problems but it seems to be OK. PM me if you want more specific info on the cars condition but if you want it you can most likely drive it home without a problem.

Because of the work put into the car to get it running, I WILL NOT part out. I am looking for a buyer for the whole car. This would make an awesome project, either swap or rally car. I am asking $3000 obo for everything. I will also trade for a 6 speed tranny.

I need the clock spring/roller connecter that is on the column behind the steering wheel. Also would like the spoiler and maybe some other interior plastic bits. Let me know.
