I just got my 05 Baja twerbo...

the only thing that doesn't work is the cruise... The button and light come on, but the steeringwheel controls do not.

Im no noob to soob, and have worked on many, and im afraid that the clock spring is dead. I always thought that killed the horn too! I like cruise!!!

Is there anyway to check this WITHOUT a select monitor?

(part of me dreams that it has no cruise because someone put in a STi computer, but my boost gauge says "NO!" like Ron Burgandy eating cat poop!)

Probably not the clock spring, or as you said the horn would not work and also the airbag light would be on.

hmmm, I reset the ECM, left the battery unhooked with the brake pedal jobbie for a few hours...

still off... sometimes some strange jerky accelleration... that could probally be from the de-snorkusing that was done too...

Joe sucked at cleaning it for delivery... looks like he peeled off the stock tag and kicked its ass out the door. ya think he woulda at least warshed it! one would think that that much money would get a car washed and buffed, MEBE....

Joe was busy eating...... I don't really remember what we did to that car..... It was so long ago that it came through the shop. Has the cruise worked at all since you got the car???
