its a tough call, mech are reliable and have been used for ever but they do not do the opening sweep, the elec react a bit faster and do the full sweep...flip a coin, i personally ran the mech for a while...

it says i have 19 as then i don't have to pay the listing fee everytime i sell one, if i post up that i have 1 instock and sell one, then i have to pay the fee to relist once its sold...ill know this week when i get another shipment in of gauges if the boosts will be back instock...i openly admit i am now out of stock of the amber/white premiums but have 13 mech boost, 10 elec boost, 5 60mm elec boost left in the amber/white color...once people found out that i still had them instock they sold out real real real fast...

Most vendors take their customers' word when they say a product has arrived damaged. I have gone out of my way to show this to you. Please help me resolve this in a timely manner. That sucks. It's not uncommon that something gets damaged during shipping - especially UPS! I've never had a shop not send a return label for a damaged part. Especially NASIOC vendors. In my experience they are the best for customer service. Maybe they are just busy? But one week is kinda a long time to wait. good luck.

yes we are totally in the wrong for this incredibly long wait on an issue such as this, this has not been a good month for some personal reasons and it started to effect our customer service a bit but were just about back on track and back to the fast customer service we have built are reputation on...

Here are the remainder of the pics. The gauges were sent in a FedEx Pak -- one was a padded envelope and one was a bubble envelope. As I mentioned earlier, it almost looks as if the gauge had been opened prior to shipping. Is it possible that this could have been a prior return or damaged gauge that was mistakenly shipped out again?

I ask this because you can see that the inside cardboard of the package is pushed in as if someone tried to squeeze their hand in there. Also, the inside cardboard that holds the gauge in place was pushed in (see pic). In addition, the areas around the flaps are ripped (see pic). I'm not sure how this could have happened during shipping.

Again, my other gauge box is in perfect condition -- absolutley no tears, dents, rips, etc -- and was nicely taped shut. I can take a picture of this box tonight, if you wish.

In a previous email you stated that you personally tape each box closed. This particular box had no tape on the outside flap (see pic). There was also dust on the inside clear window which makes me think that it may have been opened previously (see pic). I'm not sure how dust could ge on the inside of the window. In one of the pics you can also see what appears to be the remainder of tape on this clear window (see pic). I'm not sure how that got there or where the rest of it went. Again - it looks like it was tampered with previously. I have not opened up the rest of the box (where the other accessories are) so I'm not sure what kind of condition they are in or how they are packaged.

As you can see, the gauge is damaged (dents) in two places. The outside bezel is also loose and swivels from side to side roughly 1/2". Because of the loose bezel, the peak button does not sit straight and ocassionally sticks for a second or two.

I would like to stress again that I have made no attempt to install this gauge and did not damage it in anyway. I already have a boost gauge in my car and was waiting to recieve my header from Crucial (w/ EGT bung) before intalling them. What you see is exactly how I received it.

Although slow, I appreciate you taking the time to acknowledge and deal with this issue.

It almost looked like someone may have stepped on or smashed that side of the package. It doesn't sound like you've many shipping problems in the past, but it may be worth packing them in a hard box in the future.

As an FYI for those that are looking at Prosport Gauges in the Blue color.....you will not be able to see these very well in the daytime. Especially if it's bright out and you're wearing sun glasses.

I've taken out the tinted lenses and added clear lenses, which solves the problem, but if I had to do it again, I'd have gone a different route.

Just posting this so others might know. I've talked to at least 3 other blue Prosport Gauge owners and they agree that viewing in daytime lighting is very very difficult, even impossible at times, but I've never seen it posted for some reason.

So there ya go.....just some feedback I hope might help others.

the difference between the 60mm performance gauges and 60mm premium gauges are the same differences between the 52mm performance and premium gauges....the premium series comes with a warning/peak light, pod and the ability to hook up accessories such as external warning light. as long as the pods are for a 52mm gauge both the performance and premium gauges in 60mm and 52mm will fit.

Will the opening ceramony synced if I use a combo of premium peak/warning + the normal ones? And do the 2 different types identical? I'm thinking of mixing with premiums and normals, but I don't want to if they look completely different.

the only look difference of the premium and performance series is that it has a warning/peak light and has a little button to adjust otherwise they look exactly the same. the ceremony will still be the same using one premium and one performance.

Do I need a oil preasure sender kit to install my op gauge? I bought a oil galley plug with the 1/8 threads. And I plan on using the galley plug i=under the IC

ive had a problem with my prosport premium series boost gauge ever since i got it new from prosport. the gauge reads a few psi higher than actual. the higher the boost, the more the error. at about 20 psi, as read from my ecu, im seeing 22-23 on the gauge. when the engine is off, the gauge reads 0. the gauge and sender are grounded and supplied power by the same point. sender gets the boost signal from a tee from the manifold where the bpv connects. awhile ago, prosport said they were testing a v3 sender that was supposed to alleviate these problems, but in the most recent email response i got from them, the rep on the other end was clueless as to what i was talking about with the new sender. ive read posts my other members with these gauges confirming their inaccuracy. what is to be done about this? wtf is the point of a boost gauge that is 3 psi off?

He had seen my posts bashing prosport, and I'm happy to say that after a year or so of having a faulty-reading Prosport Premium Series Electric boost gauge, Prosport finally made good. Ryan sent me his new version 3 electrical boost sender, as well as an inline filter and wire harness, all free of charge! All I can say is thanks! It's about time! I'm very happy and even though I cannot test the new sender just yet, due to a blow transmission in my wrx, I am fully confident that it will fix the +3 psi error I was seeing. I had tried to contact prosport about this issue a few times in the past, and I was told that a new sender was in the testing phase. After a few months, I basically gave up hope and decided to live with an inaccurate boost gauge. Well Ryan contacted me, and made everything better. So from this gesture alone, I would be happy to buy from prosport again, and I would recommend their products to others. Thanks Prosport!
