On my 05 WRX my foglights seem to keep burning out. It seems to alternate sides. Both don't burn out it is either one side or the other. No, I don't touch the bulbs with my hands when changing them. The wires all seem tight when they are installed and I am using the correct wattage bulbs so I know too much heat isn't the problem. Do I need new wiring harnesses? New fuses? Anything I am over looking? I am tired of buying new bulbs.

I've noticed the same thing. I originally thought it was because of my use of Hella Yellowstars, but I've gone thru 2 bulbs each on the stock fogs, but the same bulbs in my aux. fogs on my light bar have held out the whole time. I think the stock fogs are just getting pummeled by rocks/pebbles while driving because they're lower and the bulb filaments are breaking, not burning. They don't do much anyway, so I'll just keep putting cheap bulbs in those and putting the good ones in my aux fogs which provide a much better pattern.

Mine are just the stock location fog lights. I am using aftermarket bulbs and have the stock ones set aside. I am tired of buying bulbs every couple of weeks casuse one or the other burns out. It is a pain to change too because of the side splitter and front lip that I added. I hate having to jack the car up, undo the pop rivets and then fight the box next to the right front tire. Just a PIA! I don't even use my fogs anymore cause of the lights burining out.
