Ah I just got back from a trip and was told by local tuner this turbo is bad.

I want a refund. The bearings are shot.

The turbo was not pre oiled by ToPaUtO_V6 when he installed is onto his car.
Looks like he damaged it then quickly resold it.

He is now stating turbo is sold as is. No where does it say that. I have a few P.M.'s asking him if its in good working order. He stated yes each time.

Funny that I didnt have to say anything about the pre oiling problem before ToPaUtO_V6 brought it up claiming my installer did it. Turbo was never intalled... They took a look at it and said bearing failure.

06STi:That turbo can only be rebuilt by PE in japan.
So we need to figure this out. If you need to call $%^& they will give you a run down, These guys are a top notch shop. The tuner broke away from $%^& because he wanted to treat customers better... He is the only one I trust with my car.....
They also did show me some shaft play I just want to get this taken care of. If you want to send me the $550 thats fine. I'll just send it out to get rebuilt. But I want this taken care of ASAP.

06STiSounds like you have a problem. I can always do a backcharge on my credit card. That would then be for the full amount.

I filed a claim yesterday. Paypal locks you from deleting your account. He cant remove his bank acount at this point.


I told him to pay me 550 for the rebuild. Which is a whole lot better then a full refund. But I see he doesnt want to own up. I have given him a day or so. I think I'm being more then fair.

Also I might add..... People in other thread had qustioned why it was a week and half after I found out it was bad. Well I have been working day and swing shifts each day. Plus 4th of july was in there at some point.
The shop that works on my car has a waiting list as well. So you can see how time adds up.

i ultimatly wound up with my gc8 back thank the lord as that mr2 was a basket case.
