Is the summer tuning price good through the whole summer (end of August?)

+1, I was thinking of coming up middle of next week for a nice turbo upgrade/ Protune
Newera09 07-03-2007, 02:52 AM BTW what are the advantages of getting tuned for 109 gas, and is it available at N.E.D. ???
2mprzya 07-03-2007, 03:11 PM NED has Sunoco 104. $7.00/gal last time i checked.
altho Lee Circle Grocery has Sunoco 100 for a little bit less I'm sure.
Tdc Tuning 07-05-2007, 03:34 PM With race gas you can run more boost, more timing, and leaner AFR's. Basically so you can have a track tune.
DrewSTi 07-07-2007, 06:09 PM How long are the prices good for? I would like to do this in the first week of August. Are you providing the Cobb Protune license in the price? I already have a V1 Access port. Can you do an STU tune along with 93 octane tune instead of a race gas tune? STU is basicly a 93 octane tune with out changing boost levels.

There is no "license" involved in a pro tune
Mike can do an STU tune with no problem for you
The first week of august is fine Email mike for your appointment
Ts30RLGT 07-07-2007, 07:39 PM BTW what are the advantages of getting tuned for 109 gas, and is it available at N.E.D. ???
the advantage is the ability to run more boost, timing and leaner afr
all of which will usually produce more power
99.5% of the tunes i do, include a 91 and a 95 oct map
On an sti i usually see an increase of 20-30 ft lbs and 15-20 whp

you can mix 93 and 109 to get a mixture you can reproduce with 104 or 100 and 93.
Lets say you want a 100 oct tune
5 gal of 93 + 4 gal of 109 = 100 oct
OR
Straight 100
OR
2 gal 93 + 4 gal 104 = 100 oct
and so on and so forth.
Does that help?
Tdc Tuning 07-12-2007, 04:54 AM First week of august is ok, but I'm going to Canada (to tune) the first weekend of August, so it will have to be during the week.
BNastyer 07-14-2007, 01:47 AM see you guys at 2 for the protune, those race gas tunes sound SWEEET, i might have to check those out too!
