The marks on the rear one that you can see on the bar are on a piece of tape marking it "GC Impreza" (I got it from a junkyard in Okinawa). It was rusty when I got it but I sanded and painted the ends white. Since you really can't see the thing when it is installed I never cared what it looked like enough to take the tape off, I just don't like surface rust on anything. I am sure it can be cleaned and painted better than my spray can job.
