I have changed plugs and oil on other cars before. Purchased filters, plugs, and seafoam. Air filter actually is clean. I pull out one of the front plug wires but the right ones and back ones look like might be hard to get into.

Any advice as to changing the plugs? Is it a 10 minute job, or 30+ minute job?

As for oil change, can one get to the drain plug and oil filter without jacking up the car?

I got the repair manual but didn't find pictures of the brake booster line or the vacuum line. Some look like they can be it but don't want to assume. Want to pour in half a can of seaform to clean up the intake etc.

The check engine line is on. Oil level looks good, and relatively clean.

Thanks

Ive never done the plugs, so Im not sure. Im pretty sure youll need to jack the car up to get to the filter. Its right there though, easier than a freakin Civic.

If you look up PCV valve, you will see where the vacuum line is. Just use that. Id also replac the PCVvalve. Its cheap and takes about 45 seconds literally. Helps with idle/gas mileage/smoother accel/regained hp. My car drives a lot better after replacing it. Car had over 150,000 miles on it though

plugs are easy. To get to the rear plugs, you will need to detach the wiper fluid bottle (you can keep the hoses connected and move it to the side), and remove the air box. Be careful not to cross-thread the plugs when replacing them. It is easy to make this mistake with an aluminum block (or any bolt for that matter).

I guess you could change the oil without jacking the car up, but it can't be easier than jacking the car or using some ramps. The oil really comes out when you remove the drain plug, beware.

Good Luck!

I dont jack mine up when I change the oil, I figure I get more of the old oil out if its level. as for plugs, easy job should'nt take more then a few minutes. Is your car lowered, that would make it a little harder.
