Just double checking that I am about to wire these correctly. Has anyone had any trouble wiring directly to the stock harness? http://i199.photobucket.com/albums/aa164/awoliver/hids.jpg

Do some research to find out how to make a proper wiring harness. Good luck with the RHD beam pattern. paulmofyourhand 08-06-2007, 01:45 PM http://lightwerkz.net/prod_subaru.htm save time, money, and hassle and just buy the conversion harness. wrxsubaruwrx 08-07-2007, 10:24 PM The stock wiring really isn't designed to handle the power demands of the ballast on startup. The rhd beam pattern was corrected by making it flat and I never got flashed when using these . OP You could have asked me and I would have helped you out with the wireing . I hope you're enjoying them as much as I did . LightWerkz 08-07-2007, 10:52 PM problem with filing done the cutoff line is that you make the lights very low because your eliminating the left step. Corrected? Perhaps, but its not optimal. wrxsubaruwrx 08-08-2007, 08:32 AM problem with filing done the cutoff line is that you make the lights very low because your eliminating the left step. I did what I could with what I had to work with and they came out great IMO :) . When I first got my JDM's I did the same thing, it's not much better. Do it right and retrofit a projector with the proper optics / beam pattern into them. There have been successful retro's with TSX, FX, RS6, S2K and probably others. I'd love to find a 2nd pair and see if a TL / ZkW hybrid will fit in there. jdm4you 04-21-2009, 07:47 AM I'm going to try and get mine to work when I get done with work. |
