Any one ever seen the 12V supply to the control unit smoked?

I lost boost, checked out the hardware and found the12v supply lines melted, I checked it our for shorts etc, repaired and function is a ok, Ive ran it now and all working as it should, wires are good and no heat evident.

anyone seem similar, what could cause this?, I assumed the +ve may have become split and touched out on the ECU foot plate cover? other then that the soilenoid has an issue.

Thought Id throw it out there.

was it the solenoid? or the power for the control module?
