I am going back to stock and I have a used STi Limited Front lip. This item is in good shape, no cracks or breaks. However the STi plate on the lip came off in a car wash. It was on the car about 5000 miles. Asking $175 shipped!

This is a genuine part. It actually came off of my 2007 STi limited. The STi plate came off of it, so I bought a new one for the limited and put this one on my TR. It is in fair condition. Pics will be up shortly!

... seller wont respond with a tracking number, or anything else... its been a week and no lip and no emails.. if still no lip by monday the 20th then this goes to scamsville, anyone know how to get money back from paypal?

I think i know this guy, first he tried to trade someone wheels with wires showing on the tread while it was labled as excellent condition, then i he made a deal with me trading STI interiors but backed out and never called. Pretty shady character, idk try to pm him or call paypal and explain to them that it was a scam. paypal might be able to extract the money right out of his account. However id wait another week i know shipping could be slow shipping out to Maryland, I my self shipped something from here in utah to new york taking a week just for transit time, so give it another week if you still don't get a response then report it to paypal.

Yea, its not as much the money, it’s the fact I got scammed, and the fact I wanted to have this on the car before I put it in storage for a while. Well with some time I have in Iraq, I’ve been trying to get my money back from Paypal.
After a few emails back and forth, it has gotten my nowhere.
I figure I would send them an email every day until I get to talk to a supervisor. I have since removed my bank account from my paypal account. I’ve got nothing but time so I’ll fight this until its resolved.

I was going to do a charge back through Chase, but this is what will happen...

If you paid with your credit card, then you can put in a chargeback to your bank for "non-received goods." If you put in a chargeback for "unauthorized use," you will be in violation of PayPal's user agreement and PayPal will put that amount negative to your PayPal account. Either way, if you have no money in there now, you will go negative. If someone pays you for something else, PayPal will keep that money to offset your negative balance and you will be expected to reimburse PayPal. They will continue to keep any money anyone sends to your PayPal account. You will not have access to your account. This is known as "freezing" your account. You will never be able to use that account again, until you pay PayPal the money.
PayPal may also try to debit that amount to any checking account, savings account or credit card you have on file.
If PayPal does not recover the entire balance they say you owe, they will send you collection notices for the balance, and turn the account over to a collection agency. See the NCO collection notice page. They claim they will report you to the credit agencies as well.

i had to get my money back from my cc company which i did. and paypal couldn't get any money cause he doesn't have any in his account.

I email paypal about every other day. I always get a automated response back. I’m so unsatisfied with the customer service that I removed my checking account. The only way to get through to them is to call, and I wont be able to really do that until I’m back from Iraq. Once I find out if I can reverse the charge to my CC and paypal wont come after me I’ll post it. In the mean time I hope this guy is rotting in the ground somewhere. :mad:

I finally got ahold of someone at paypal. They said I was free and clear to reverse the charge. They would only go after you if you actually received the item and THEN reversed the charge. Called my CC company and they issued me a credit today. It’s a pain in the ass to get at a phone here, which is why I waited so long, I wanted to get the answers from paypal first and that took six attempts at me emailing them. Good times.
