That's strange. I recently purchased a v7 STi motor from them, and they were very upfront about shipping and customs. They were also pretty easy to get on the phone as well.

Overall, it was a very pain-free experience.

I called them multiple times during my transaction with them, and I never had to speak French. Granted, I only dealt with Andre; maybe the others don't speak English as well.

qrx bob we have told you many times that you need to send us the diff
and we will return another one at no charges what more do you want us to do
sometime it happens that we get a bad part and we always assumed responsibility for it
if you dont send it back we sont send another one
because everytime we had shipped an item under waranty before receiving the other one first,we usually dont get it back.
not to long ago a costumer c alled me about a bad vf 30
he sent it back, we inspected it and we even paid 275 to get check for nothing, everything was in perfect shape
we sent it back to the costumer and then he called me back to say that he made a mistake it was the shroud around the flywheel that was making the noise
we did not charge anything for his mistake and we also did not charge him for shipping .

I had the same exact problem. I had a customs charge from PBB Global logistics that I was not prewarned or notified about. I get a bill, and then right away its at collections. After numerous emails, I finally got Andre to send me the paypal for the bill. I even sent them copies so that THEY can handle it. I guess they didnt feel like going through the trouble and figured it would be easier to just paypal me. So I had to speak with representatives and explain what the deal is. I have yet to check my credit report, but if I find out that there is a mark on there from this, something will definitely be done. Oh yeah and the item (twinscroll turbo, oil pan, etc) was just thrown in a plastic bin completely loose banging around with duct tape wrapped around it. The bin had a hole and many cracks in it by time I received it along with a few dents/gouges in the compressor housing, oil pan was dented etc. I am not happy for the money I spent in the transaction. I will say this to you guys. I have been buying/selling parts for different cars for over ten years, and I will say that 90% YES 90% of all transactions I made with Canadians had a problem. Just food for thought. This is the last time I deal with Canadians. Its a shame because they have ports on the upper west coast with goods coming from Japan and its a pretty huge gateway up there. I just think they have a small problem with business ethics or something.:sadbanana:
