I need a set of JDM front seats. I'm interested in anything JDM that's V1-6.

Let me know what you guys have. I'd be willing to trade plus cash my stock '99 RS seats for them if anybody is interested.

The ones you sat in this afternoon were V5 seats, which are identical to V6 seats. They're the ones to aim for if you can.

What is different about the V1-4 seats?

If you google them, you'll be able to find pictures of the different seats. The V4 and earlier ones just don't support quite as well as the V5/6 ones do from what I've read and they don't look as though to be as nicely shaped.

Version 1-4 are the best for skinny people. V1-4 have better side support since they are a tighter fit. The V5/6 are made a little wider. How do I know? I owned both. hehehhe

What do you think I'd do best with? I'm 6'2", 180#, with a size 33 waist

I would recommend the v5/6. I believed you sat in the v5/6 when you test drove my car. Probably forget how they felt, but those should be perfect for you.
