Shiny. 02GatorWRX 01-12-2002, 02:51 PM What kind of wax did you use? Hand or machine? Looks great. aview2nv 01-12-2002, 02:55 PM I use Pinnacle Paintwork Cleansing Lotion and then Blitz wax. All by hand. Sir_Xenon 01-12-2002, 03:08 PM Do you get swirl marks? I find a good wax job helps but the damn clearcoat is so thin and cheap that I'm affraid of taking my baby to the car wash. All work is done by hand. Looks nice! Mark aview2nv 01-12-2002, 03:10 PM Thanks. I have never gotten swirl marks. I use even pressure in a side to side motion. The cleansing lotion is citrus based and helps a lot. I recommend you guys give it a try... ScoobyBoy 01-14-2002, 08:23 PM i normally use meguiars. i wash, dry, polish, and wax. and i get to enjoy the end result. i bought a pink wax at the sf auto show, it is very easy to apply, and shines fairly well. its a wax i use when im lazy. :D LowNotezAudio 01-14-2002, 09:20 PM Wax contains abrasives thats bad for your paint. If you're serious about your car and want the best use this stuff http://www.zainobros.com Yes its expensive but its not wax its car polish that wont harm your paint and lasts much longer than all others on the market. Works great for swirls and scratchs on darker cars. KapaFool 01-14-2002, 11:28 PM Was it the wax on and wax off Miyagi style? I heard that works good from my buddy Daniel. |
