If you guys have any of my luck you probably have a few dings in your windshields. Just thought I would let you know that Novus does a great job on repairing them. Can't even find the spots. They are on Denali across from Microplay. Only took about 1/2hr. And they billed my insurance.

will

Edit: Damn....I sound like a commercial

Everytime my windshield gets dinged I feel like chasing down the bastard that threw the rock and beating the living snot out of him.
:monkey: to all the inconsiderate drivers who fling rocks!

sorry....I'm better now:)

I have been there too, mainly picked them cuase I work down the street. I had the crack in my windshield fixed, they did a "stop drill" or something and the guy filled in the crack as best he could with the same goop they use to hide the holes/dings. I can still see the crack, but just barely, you've got to be looking for it.

They're definitely a good place to fix the cracks/dings in your windshield. The only thing is, the first time I went the girl there said they couldn't do it because liability or something (fixing the crack), I went back the next day (after the crack grew) and the guy said she was totally wrong, they can do it.

I'll probably get some dings soon. I feel like bad luck is following me. My solution to the windshield ding problem is to not tailgate and give big trucks lots of room. Winslow

I had a ding repaired at speedy auto glass who will work with your insurance so you do not have to pay a dime to get the chip filled. It also does not change your insurance at all. My insurance company allows me to fill up to 6 without having to pay for them. After that you pay or get a new windshield.

Man, I caught a rock about 1 week into my REX...I heard it, but didn't see it. I looked all over the windshield from the inside and saw nothing, so assumed it hit my roof. EXCEPT it actually hit below the wiper, which I found out when the crack went up from there, about 10 inches over, and right back down! Oh well, next time I'll be more vigilant.

I am paying for the windshield option on my insurance. It's only like an additional 20 bucks for six months. Definitely worth it.
