on 7 Oct 07 i sent you $400 USD for a set of guaranteed good WRX heads shipped to Little Rock, Arkansas. I patiently waited about a month for you to send the heads even though you knew i was under a tight time constraint. When the heads arrived I found them to be VERY dirty, and after spending $20 to have them cleaned at the machinist I found 12 of the 16 valves cracked and the heads unusable.
You offered to send me another set of heads that you guaranteed and personally checked out, these heads came without cam caps and valves. On our phone call towards the end of Nov you promised to send your Evo3 16G turbo to make up for the $125 per head I'd have to put into them for the valve job and the $75 per head to have them line honed. I've since found out that there are no machinists within a hundreds of miles of me that can do the line boring so again these heads are no good to me.

The last PM i received from you was on Dec 7th when you asked if i'd prefer the VF39 you've got to the Evo3, i responded that i'd prefer the Evo3 - no response from you since. I know you've spent a fair amount shipping both sets of faulty heads to me and to be fair i even agreed to send you my old valve covers and buckets.

They may have been pulled from a running car, and I would have used them however a very experienced machinist told me not to use them as they would get worse and require replacement in the near future. I've never claimed to be a mechanic, i'm a guy who wants to learn and is all about learning from people who know more then I do. If someone who's done something for 25 years says a piece of equipment is going to fail then I trust him.
And the box said shipping was $55 - which I agree is a lot of money to pay out in shipping, but not $125.

This deal could have been easily corrected, but look at it from my perspective - you sent me two sets of heads that both had serious issues, like I've said before - I would have sent them back to you and called it good, you were very generous in sending the sensors, injectors and etc and I very much appreciate that. NEVER did i demand that you send me the turbo, when we talked on the phone i asked if you'd be willing to send me the turbo after I had $400 into those heads from you, plus it was going to cost another $400 in work from the machinist. I ASKED you if you'd be willing to send the turbo to make up for the additional several hundred dollars it was going to cost me to have the work done on them. How does it become my fault that you can't provide working parts? I didn't have the machine work done as I had planned on because no one can line bore Subaru heads in all of Arkansas so again, a second set of heads that are of no use to me.

We agreed to make everything fair I'd send you the extra valve covers, buckets and shims that I had no use for. Evidently your memory is selective, if I'm a "type A".

As far as upjeeper, I met the guy once to trade gauge pods he was selling on the local forum. I asked him about the build and he showed me the heads that he had just bought from you at the time, and they were almost as cracked up as you're acting.

This needs to be handled in a CIVIL manner between the two principals involved. Flaming from either side will not be tolerated and won't help solve anything.

In end of December I bought something from Texy32, when it didn't showed up in mid January I PM him about it and he told me that he sent and it shouldn't be long. That same day I saw this thread about him being a scammer so all my hopes of getting my package fell to zero and I started filing paypal claims and stuff. Last week he emailed me a custom ID number and I called here and there asking for information and it took me a while until I found somebody that could look out this number and see what was going on. He told me that it was a valid number that status wasn't updated, which means that they received something but they have no idea where it is now.

So conclusion, I didn't receive what I bought from him. I thought he was a scammer because I saw this thread. I discovered that my package was in fact lost in the mail somewhere in the border. We agreed to split the lost so he sent me half of my purchase by paypal.

A scammer wouldn't refund someone just to be fair...

It is clear for me now, this guy ISN'T a scammer.

Fact is I sent the guy $400 for a set of 2.0 heads. Then he sent me a second set of heads that needed about $400 in machine work.

If Texy32 wants to make right on this, I'll send the heads back for a full refund, and I'll pay to ship them back out of my own pocket and will gladly be even up. I'll even delete the thread or revoke any feedback or whatever it takes.

Worst part is Texy32 stopped replying to my communication when I got pissed about a second set of heads that would cost way more to fix then they were worth to me so I called him out on it.

I can not think of any better offer than a full set of sti heads complete. no more money on your part. just send me the heads back with valve covers, sti buckets & wrx buckets. As I've told you several times, I was in the process of moving and I haven't been able to ship the buckets or valve covers yet. I was just able to get them out of storage last week or so. We had an agreement and you knew that I did a port and polish job on them. That was not a porting 101, that was a gasket matched port job.

Send me back the $400 I initially sent for the heads. I won't expect money back from you for all the time and effort and money i put into them (to include driving to machine shops, the time and cost machine shops put into the work they did do on them), shipping costs to send the bare heads back to you, or even my time for porting those heads.

I'll pm you my paypal address, you send my money back and you'll never hear from me again. I won't even complain about this deal, I'll be done with it.

Don't get pissed at me because you can't hold up your end of the deal. I was supposed to receive a full set of STi heads that were to be shipped the day after I paid you. That was October 3rd, 2007. Honestly I don't know what I'm looking at when I look at the heads, but it would surprise me in the least bit if you neglected to include everything. So now I have the STi cams, more than 5 months after I paid you. You don't answer your phone or your pm's. When you sell somebody something you don't take their money and then wait 5 months to send the parts. That is a scam. What about the time value of my $500. How about you pay me for the hours that I have spent talking to paypal and my credit card company? It was only after threats from paypal, my aunt (who's an attorney in Houston), and 5 months that send me most of what I paid you for. Like I said, you suck at selling stuff.

Ron, it is a simple equation. Get something ready to sell, advertise it, collect money, ship whatever you sold. You want my car Too? back to the exhaust I stated that the exhaust came of a wrecked car. The hangs could easily be straighted and the hole was very small obivious small enough to weld. So I am a scammer? So at the end of this deal I have a screwed up set of heads that i paid 300 dollars, that are now worthless, to replace the bad set I sent him plus $50 shipping the second time. I did not recieve the cams, the buckets, the sprockets, the valve covers, the valves, the springs or retainers and I sent the guy $200 dollars. But I am the piece of **** scammer. Where is all that stuff HMMM!!!!! I still payed him even though I did not recieve them. I am negative $150 plus what I originally paid for the first set of heads and all the parts i did not recieve back from them and a set of heads that are worthless. **** everyone of you people that says that I am a scammer. I did not dissappear, i did not run away. I am busy just like everyone I have stayed in contact and all I have gotten is a bad reputation. I take back any bad stuff I said about Texy, aka Ron. He did take too long but he seems to legitimately care about making everything right. The original cams that he sent me were kind of jacked up. He then sent me a new set of cams before I even sent the old cams back. At the end of the day, I think he just had a little too much on his plate. All in all, he is a good dude and people shouldn't be scared of dealing with him.
