I recently installed my Hella 500 fogs in the stock fog location and soldered the wires together and have been impressed with the light output over stock. However, I've been noticing from inside the car that when I pull up behind someone, the passenger side fog looks brighter than the driver side fog based upon the reflection on the car in front. I've stood outside my car and looking eye-level at the fogs, and it seems like my passenger side is indeed brighter, while the driver side is a bit dimmer. the light output is fine and I can't really gauge how big of a difference this is making, but this has been bugging me as I'd like to get the most out of my light setup. Any ideas? There isn't much room to aim the lights, so I don't think it's that since they're both aimed the same. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks guys!

other than aiming, the only other thing I can think of is the light bulbs... I had a similar problem in a different set of lights and one of the bulbs blew about 1/2 way

Could this be from a grounding wire? Maybe one light doesn't have good ground.

wires are soldered together, but i'll probably cut them and re-solder. if i remember correctly, there wasn't much slack in the wiring, so think i'll be fine cutting and re-soldering? thanks!

one light aimed higher than the other?

...one light brighter than the other means ya don't have even current flow....or one bulb is older than the other---been burned more hours....or one is dirty.....or....something.....
swap the bulbs....THAT will tell ya where to go from that point

i'll probably get around to checking this weekend. both bulbs have the same usage as they're both new (purchased the package from rallylights recently). i'm pretty sure it has to do with the wiring, so i'll go ahead and take care of that this weekend and see what's up after that. thanks guys!
