Hi how're you doing guys? i am a new guy here. recently i just bought a 03 wrx. but i am thinking to get a pair of 04/05 tail lights. Do i also need to buy some harnesses or i just have to buy those two tail lights? What I have to buy and what i have to do? Thank you so much guys. and also, anyone selling your 04/05 tail lights?

Thanks a lot!

Plug and Play afik

Only modification needed is a very small cutout on the bumper where the round part of the light is.

Or buy the 04-05 bumper.

As a matter of taste, the bugeye rear looks strikingly better than the blob/peanuteye year cars.

I'd cut the bumper.

i was thinking that because my rear bumper's paint is not in very good shape. since i have to spend around $300 to repaint it, i may rather get an other painted one.

anyways, thank you guys so much for help!! ^^

04-07 taillights will actually fit the 02/03 (rear bumper) w/o cutting anything.

how can they? there IS a round protrusion.. i've been looking to replace my OBS taillights with any 04 and up model, but iffy about both the bumper slicing or replacement...

here's some pictures of mine. Its on a bugeye rear bumper without the cuts in the bumper. You can *barely see the extra 1/5th of an inch that overlaps. It looks great imo and is totally worth it. Here's the closest shots i have for now.
