Yeah tell me about it... I found the guys phone number from one of his threads on here and he didnt pick up. So I left a message stating that I am opening a claim and ETC.

So paypal resolved my case and was only able to retrieve $0.05 of the $150 I sent him. Wtf how is paypal even useful with protection.

Did you happen to pay with a CC through Paypal?? If so, you could dispute through them. I always switch to a CC when I use Paypal for the added protection.

Well my paypal is connected to my paypal account and I wasnt thinking and had them directly withdraw it.

And paypal said they will try their hardest to get the moeny back, but I guess they are not allowed to remove the moeny form his bank without his approval.

is the case still under investigation?

or did paypal close the case?

The case came to a resolution, and they give me back $0.05 which they said was all he had in his account. And that they would try to get the rest, but they were making no garantees. And would block his account funtions untill then.
