View Full Version : Auto Meter gauges Getagrip 01-17-2002, 05:50 PM Does any one know where I can get Auto Meter Cobalt series guages? WRXnFX 01-17-2002, 08:05 PM Jake, I can't believe you are asking this question. www.akautogear.com We had a guy come over the other night and he asked the same question. I'm looking into getting them. He's going with all indiglo dash gauges and Cobalt Auto Meters. Can you post some information or your experiences in another thread about winter Rally-X? I read someone here asking about winter Rally-X. Isn't there a race coming up? Winslow KapaFool 01-17-2002, 09:04 PM I just went to Schuck's Wednesday night to look at the Autometer parts catalog. I saw the Cobalt gauges there. Pretty sweet. I am going back Friday afternoon to Schucks with a friend of mine that orders stuff for me there. I am ordering an EGT and a single gauge cup holder for a boost gauge to replace the stock one. Call me tomorrow or go to Schucks and look at the catalog yourself.:alien: Sokudo 01-17-2002, 10:07 PM got it at Shuck's for $42 KapaFool 01-17-2002, 10:10 PM Hey OFRDER do you have part numbers on the cup and the base?? I am going to replace my stock boost gauge. Might need some info on installing it on. Sokudo 01-17-2002, 10:37 PM what size gauge are u gettin'? here's the part# for the 2 1/16 gauge cup...ATM-2204 ,it comes with all the mouting hardware. KapaFool 01-17-2002, 11:47 PM 2 1/16 phantoms SQUAD_907 01-18-2002, 03:19 AM that looks really nice and clean ROB! great install! :) (9 words) WRXnFX 01-18-2002, 06:40 AM ofrder: Is that the same gauge you had in your car at the last meet? Sokudo 01-18-2002, 10:43 AM yup it's the same one.Eric, the part # I mentioned from previous post should work for that gauge.that's all you need for the install KapaFool 01-18-2002, 11:58 AM How hard would taking apart the steering column be to install it? So I don't need to get a separate mounting hardware to put it on the column? I saw this extra mounting plate on the catalog but that could be for the large tachs. Getagrip 01-20-2002, 02:12 AM The guages I'm looking for in the Cobalt series are #6159 and #6153. I called Schucks before i created this thread and they said that those #'s are not int their computer. WRXnFX 01-20-2002, 05:18 AM Boost and oil pressure? What else are you going to put in the other hole? KapaFool 01-20-2002, 05:22 AM An anal disrupter! Wideband that is.  WRXnFX 01-21-2002, 06:53 AM Does anyone think that a 60mm/2 3/8in guage would be too big for the steering column mount? Winslow KapaFool 01-21-2002, 12:04 PM It depends how big and how high the single mount cup sits. SQUAD_907 01-22-2002, 02:14 AM winslow or kris... can u find these gauges? sti ones! :D WRXnFX 01-22-2002, 05:25 AM Those are the Defi Gauges with STi logo. I'm sure we can airbrush the STi logo on with ofrder's help. Winslow SQUAD_907 01-22-2002, 02:17 PM airbrush? that's soooo ghetto though...:( WRXnFX 01-22-2002, 03:00 PM I thought STi part whores would do anything for their parts? SQUAD_907 01-22-2002, 03:18 PM anything for "real" parts! u do ur badge yet winslow? WRXnFX 01-22-2002, 03:23 PM The Autometer gauges are nice and accept STi logos well. You'll have to check my gauges, too. I haven't done the badge yet, but I will soon. Winslow RallyX13 01-22-2002, 03:51 PM There is a set they sell at Wal-Mart for like $50.00 that has three gauges, and it bolts right up under your dash. Then I take a marker and put STi on them, and then you will be good to go... Kris Sokudo 01-22-2002, 08:39 PM Winslow, just give me your badge tommorow night and I'll do it for you! i know you want it metallic blue... SQUAD_907 01-23-2002, 04:05 AM yeah...he's got the paint that will match the blue parts of the engine...it's nice! |
