I'm losing track of the threads now. I just want to clarify for everyone that had their interests in modding their cars this weekend. whtdvl, wrxnfx74, resbum, and me. I don't have a garage so it is up to whtdvl, resbum, and/or wrxnfx74 to coordinate the times. I am free all day saturday and monday. Everyone had plans to port the TB and maybe work on some gauges, etc. I have a tool and now we need the place and the times when everyone can get together. Tonight I am going to the Beer festival at the Egan Center, after that if I am not too hammered anything is pretty much open. I'll run the tools!

Its 7 pm now on Sunday and I just left Ben's house. Me and Winslow were over there and porting a TB and changing some bulbs out of my car. If you guys ain't doing anything and want to hang out call winslow. I had to leave for dinner but I'll be back there later. :D

Sounds like you guys had a busy weekend while I was gone. I will have to call and get a recap of all the cool ****. Just got back from the slope, and it was pretty cold, but we got a lot done. Well I am busy replying to all of these posts and e-mails, and will try and call ya'll later.

The throttle body mod went well. We used a cylinder honing tool. It work rather well and polished up all the imperfections. Ben also trimmed the butterfly valve and screws. After everything was done, we reset the ECU and took it for a drive. I'll let Ben post the results.

We also met a guy named Matt. He drives a silver WRX and is now equipped with Morettes. His lights were a little different than mine but rather easy to install. I noticed on his set of Morettes that there wasn't a leveling motor. Also, I figured out how to adjust them. I think we are going to help him install his Prodrive ECU and AEM intake.

We started the headlight mod but it was getting late. We'll finish up tomorrow.

Chris, you can thank Kapafool for getting you the vinyl. Don't you guys start fighting over the boost gauge. I had to regulate the fight over the Samco hoses.

I'll be busy tomorrow, too. It's a secret.

Samco and side skirts take about an hour. Boost gauge maybe longer depending on the wiring.

who is doing the headlight mod next...if no one is doing it this weekend, i'd like the spare set of headlights so i can do the mod and let my lights set over night!

Talk to Winslow. He's got a set. You might need some help from someone thats done it like me or Rob. Heatgun is helpful and some more sealant. Change to superwhite parking lights too since you have the headlights out anyway.:cool:

Actually Ben helped me. The first one was hard but we figured it out that you have to maul the damn light to get it apart. We painted the headlights white. Dont be wiping the silver reflector because they scratch easy.

wasssup ey i need some help with mah boost gauge i noe how to hook it up but i dont' noe which 1 to cut for the tee any1 can help meeh leave meeh a measage iites ...............

The boost gauge T's off the vacuum hose that goes to the stock BOV. The easiest way to do this install is to remove the intercooler. It only takes 5 minutes to remove. You'll be able to run the hose and wires through the firewall without anything in the way. The factory tubing is 1/4" ID. Some of us had to get T adapters or you could just mash the tube on like I did.

Eric hasn't done his lights but maybe we could all get together this weekend and do headlight mods. I have two sets of headlights.
