The PERRIN Performance (http://www.perrinperformance.com) show car started life as a 2008 WRX hatchback with the premium pack, and a whopping 14miles on the trip meter.

What is the stock turbo on the 2008 wrx?

Yup its a dinky turbo for a such a big engine. But it spools really fast, and makes great torque!

How much bigger is the VF40 compared to the stocker in the 08 wrx?

I would say about 30HP?? BUt who knows. I had measured all the wheels, but i lost that info! Damn! But it would be a good upgrade if you found a used one for a couple hundred bucks.

The hatch is really growing on me! Its huge inside, and feels more nimble. Can't wait for the STI and some big power! Not that 400 isn't enough :)

Ok, its time for an update, but its a sad one of sorts..........

Its time to sell the WRX!! We have had the car for long enough, and its time for something different.

Thanks for asking. We looked into the Loti market a few times. But have decided against it. GREAT cars! I had an 07 Exige and Jeff had an 05 Elise that he added a turbo kit to.
