Just picked mine up and was wondering if anybody had any tips on installing it (i.e. use more tape, silicone sealer). Looking for any lessons learned.

Also, my front lip (middle piece) is a dark gray and not blue. Is this how it is suppose to be??

the middle spacer piece is a flat black.graey-ish color i beleive with the two side lip parts being watever stock color you choose (blue in yoru case i assume)

I have a friend at Subaru who got them for me at cost.

169.5 - side

870 total, about 25% savings.

I have seen some pics with the grayish black parts you speak of painted. When I get mine I will have it painted if thats how the come with the black. Looks better I think all of it painted and it would be easier to take care of with waxing and all. Wax sucks on black plastic parts.

The middle piece is not bare plastic, it is painted. It's just painted with a dark gray color instead matching the body color.
