if and when I get enough money to get the cobb cams, will someone here be able to help me change them over to the new ones? Or should I just have a shop do it?
thanks,

Or should I just have a shop do it? thanks, RawCode SQUAD_907 01-21-2002, 03:03 AM get it professionally done...cams on a boxer engine would not be an easy at home task! my 2 cents... RawCode 01-21-2002, 03:15 AM hehe might as well save for head that have the cams and valve train already installed! It is around 500 bucks to install the cams at a shop... RawCode WRXnFX 01-21-2002, 06:28 AM I'd recommend getting them done by a professional. I know I wouldn't feel comfortable working on your car doing something as technical as cams. I might do it to my car but yours, NO. Winslow KapaFool 01-21-2002, 07:18 PM I would try it in a Honda but I have no idea where to start on the subie. Get the maintenance manual for $300. WRXnFX 01-22-2002, 05:44 AM I'm with Kapafool on this one. I'd do it to your car if it was a Honda. Winslow SQUAD_907 01-23-2002, 04:15 AM i could do it if it was a honda...i wanted jun stage one cams for the b16a i paid for and never got! damn ebay! :monkey: |
