what are those metal sleeve looking things for??
when i have a new BOV installed do i have to lubricate it so that it won't get stuck open?

Those metal sleeves are to mount the BOV to the different applications. Did you get the WRX adapter for the Turbo XS BOV as well? If you did, then you do not need the extra sleeves. If you did not get one, I would recommend getting one or you will have to have one made.

Although lubrication is usually a very good thing, you should not have to lubricate the BOV when you install it. It is not a bad idea to take it apart after awhile and clean it, then I guess you could look at lubin it up. But we will see how they do on Winslows cars and others, and try and figure out a maintenance schedule for them.

I'm not sure how long I have had my BOV on. I think it has been almost two months. I haven't had a problem but I am sure it will need some regular maintenance. Did you see in other threads or posts about sticking BOVs? $138 is a great price for a complete TurboXS BOV and adapter. We can't offer it that cheap but it is close to that price. Winslow

i think they charged extra for the kit for the WRX, i don't really trust buying anything from e-bay, thats why i'll just get it from you guys despite the slightly higher price:) the sticker for the discount, how big is it?

The discount usually is about 10% but varies on the items. We do not mark parts up that much at all, so sometimes we cannot do 10% off. But being part of the "corporation" will save you some money.

OOPS, have I gone off-topic on this? I meant yeah get a BOV. It sounds cool. My butt-O-meter thinks the car was zippier with the stock BOV on. I also think the car runs smoother when I put the synthetic oil in. Just my opinion, besides I only have one eye to see in perspective.:alien:
