I did mine back in 2001, at the latest. Definitely a good thing!

But do they actually hold a cup? The cupholder in my RS coupe is completely worthless!

same design as the worthless oe holder

only now you have 2 of them

Enhh... not really the same, no. The OE RS single holder, would hold a bigger cup. But it didn't do very well. The dual ones are still too shallow, but do a much better job. I've had it in since 2000 or 2001 at the latest, and have been on several 19-hour road trips, using them.

The double cup holder is much better at holding drinks than the single holder.

I have to say it is one of my favorite mods out of the $10,000 I have put in my car. It comes in handy all the time. This thing has sturdy sides so it holds cups much, much better than the single GC/CM cup holder. For $20 this is a no brainer!

Well the first post has a Subaru part number.

Where would you use that, I wonder?

;)

Okay fine, I'll play nice... The answer is "your dealership." Or any of the great number of dealers who participate on the forums.

Smrt one, I said where can I get it for $20. On those sites, its either $55 or the part number is superseded. :unamused:

Remove a screw. Pull the old cup holder out and put the new cup holder in.

Look above where you wrote FAIL. When I was looking at this before, I was told that the part number was superseded by the single cup holder. So that's the real double cup holder for $20? If it is, thanks for clarification.

stupid catalog is wrong.

not much I can do about that as it's managed by an outside company

we can still get the dual cupholder
and yes it's still over $40..... Not the single cupholder price

I guess pm me to arrange an order if someone is looking for this item...
I'll figure out how to add it to the catalog correctly somehow :)

I have a question: Can the double holder hold a Gatorade bottle? That's what I'm normally using the cup holder for.

It can hold the smaller Gatorade bottles, but not the big ones. On that note Gatorade is no good for you. It is like sugar water with even more calories that soda.

^Thanks for the health tip, I've mostly switched to Vitamin Waters (almost worse since I'm now OD'ing on vitamins with the sugar and the calories) :p

keirnna

Ha ha, yeah you don't need all those vitamins. All they give you is really expensive urine.

This is just what I need! I was "arguing" with my girlfriend the other day when we both had drinks in my subie.

In other words:
Her: "Hey! I was going to put my drink there."
Me: "Well, it's my car and I'll put my drink where I want it."
Her: "I want my drink there, though."
Me: "I bought your damn drink so get over it."
Her: "..."
End of Discussion

(She was just joking. My girl's not a b**** at all. Love her!)
