I have a question for those with bugeyes that have Hid's installed...where did you mount the ballasts? Ill be doing this soon and wanna know where the best place to put them would be..some pics would be great!

personally, i couldnt find a clean place to put them, so i just basically shoved them anywhere behind the headlights! it doesnt look pretty either! just make sure you clear the wires and such from the fans!

I mounted mine behind the fog light openings, there's a fairly large flat spot there on both sides. I also took off the bumper cover when I was installing everything, that made everything much easier to do.

i have mine right behind the headlights tucked in and ziptied so they wouldnt move around. what kit are u getting? i currenty have 9007 8k's on my bug. its been going good for me...but the thing that sucks is that i dont have highbeams :-(

Mine are tucked just underneath the lights on the flat spot. The driver's side was trickier than the passenger's due to the battery.

I originally bought a kit for my GTP..Its a 9007 kit..6k's with Hi/Lo..But I dont use that car much so Im putting this kit in the Subie...
