shemoves 12-29-2007, 09:24 PM How does it's price compare to others?
grippy monkey 12-30-2007, 10:18 PM I've personally ran/run this Oil. I met a rep from Japan for Eneos and he was super cool despite the language barier. I've used 0w50 in my 06 WRX and now in my 04 STI. I like royal purple alot but I think the Eneos gives you that fresh oil feel for alot longer.
Evasive Motorsports 01-02-2008, 05:56 PM It is indeed great oil! :disco:
Evasive Motorsports 01-03-2008, 04:25 PM Eneos!
schuey_1 01-03-2008, 09:03 PM I'm using the 0w50 as of right now and i love it the engine is more responsive compare to the royal purple.ENEOS is similar to REDLINE OIL.
I've used Mobil 1,Royal purple,Redline,ENEOS and my Top 2 oils are REDLINE & ENEOS.MOTUL is NEXT

Hmm, me personally my choice would be 5w30 in that temp range.

Except not all of Eneos' stuff is Grp V.:)
I've heard the 5w-30 that your manual recommends is actually Grp III.
May as well run Castrol 0w-30 at that point...

Here is the response I got from Eneos:
They are similar but the US side has more stringent regulation on certain aspect which means we need to beef it up a bit for the US market..

kike_ej20 05-07-2008, 04:54 AM Here is the response I got from Eneos:Thanks for your time, effort and great attitude.
It seems to me a little bit out of place that the "same" oil from Japan that goes to the states is better.
In what sense? How is it better?
Tim Wang gave you a pretty vague answer respecting the matter; I guess that I'm going to have to do the research over here so I can find out for sure.

Yeah I know the answer was alittle vague. Let me see if I can get a hold of someone at Eneos who can give me a more specific answer.
