I could use some help - I have a WRB 2007 STi and can't figure out what wheel I want. The contenders are:
Enkei RPM2 18" x 8" in Hyperblack or
Work Kai 18" x 8.5" in Bronze
If anyone has any suggestions regarding looks or the performance of either, please let me know.
Thanks alot,
Izzy
Update: Thanks for the help everyone. I think I am leaning towards the Kai's - I just like the way the bronze looks against the blue. I just have one follow up - what do I do for center caps for the Kai's? Will my STi center caps fit?
Thanks again,
Izzy

Id go for the works.
The RPMs have a flat face that i dont like. And I also like wider wheels.
i run a 17x9 street and an 18x9 race.

FWIW, here's mine, but 17" though. The diamond black (or whatever they call it) coating is a little more fragile than say a regularly painted rim; the good thing is that it's only the shiny top coat, leaving the black undercoat still intact, so the imperfections are hidden really well unless your face is like 6" up against the rim. Very tough wheels though; they share some of the construction features found on the RPF1's that makes those wheels so popular among race teams.

In terms of width...I don't know, it depends on what tire you run, really. The extra .5" width of the works allows for wider meats, but you wouldn't notice the difference between a 235 vs a 255 tire on a street car TBQH.

I'd go with the Works based on looks, getting the deepest offset I could find. They look weird if they aren't deep.

Find out if the RPMs clear the brembos, I'm not sure they do. There's a sticky up there called 'wheels that fit the STi', and you can probably find out if they're on the 'verified' list or not.
Personally, I say get what you like... ultimately, you're the one that will look at the wheels the most.
