What up everybody, it's been while since i talked to some of you. Just wanted to say whats up and give an update.
Courtney and I went on our crusie to Hawaii and it was freaking amazing. If you ever get the chance do it take it! Here's a pic in Kauai :)

Now for the good stuff, this friday i'm making the long drive (1.5 miles) to PDX Tuning. I'm having a Turbo XS fmic installed and will then get the car dyno tuned. I'm going to ask if we can do a quick baseline pull to see how much of a difference the fmic makes. While its there i'll put on the cf reverse hood scoop and cf grill. If we've got time i'll prob have them throw some motor mounts on as well.
I'm pretty excited. I'll post up pics and video (if i can figure out how to upload a video) once it's done! :banana:

So whats new in the AKIC? I see you guys have plans to bring Jarrad up again this spring. Any big builds getting tuned?

Man it must be nice to have PDX within walking distance from your house. Heck if they were that close to me I'd be there every day lol

We had outlaw night last night. You missed a big crowd thats for sure.

No projects right now on my end other then possibly stage 2 on the STi next year. Got a project car lined up... hopefully the deal doesn't fall apart as I'm looking forward to it. Should be a monster when its done in a few years.

35R would be nice. Once i've got the fmic that might be the next step. I would like to do some internals before that stage. We'll see.

I think the fmic will let the green breath more. It also opens the door for a bigger turbo :devil:

Got the pm thanks. things in OR are great so far. I miss the akic meets though. I haven't been to a single meet down here. The subie community is just not as tight.

okay, so the car's all tuned up. When I took the car in it was running lean. We did a baseline pull to see where it was at. With the tmic and 24 lbs of boost it made 335 whp.
After getting fmic put on and retuning the car, Jarrad was able to turn the boost down to 22 lbs and made about 380 whp. This is with pump and water/meth, no Torco. Jarrad said if we would have left the boost at 24 lbs it would easily be at 400+ whp, but he didn't recommend it with stock internals. I was hoping to get a race gas map, but PDX was out of race gas. I think I know where it all went, (see pics below)
The next day my clutch started slipping so I haven't had a chance to really enjoy the car yet. I ordered a new clutch today so hopefully soon i'll get to do some spirited driving.

Went with the Turbo XS FMIC and an RPS clutch.

Jarrad gave me a deal too good to pass up on the turbo XS. So far i love it. There were no fitment issues. It's sooooo much more efficient that the timc. we actually turned the boost down 2 lbs, eliminated Torco and made 45 more whp!
