Mikey 01-26-2002, 09:44 PM Isn't 8" too wide for a GC8? Or does the custom offest help alleviate that?
Mike
WRXfx@Psi-Fi Motorsport 01-26-2002, 09:50 PM the wheels are totally custom, if you want a narrower rim(7 inch width in 17-18-19) they will make it for you! They will build these wheels to the desire of the customer-Pick the wheel/Pick the size/Pick the color etc...
wrxdriven 01-26-2002, 09:53 PM I want a 19" x 8" set but i don't know the offset for the wrx in that size can you get me that info. Thanks
I will place the order after i get the info.

DAC17 01-26-2002, 11:17 PM GB price for the 17 X 7" set of 4, please?
Thanks.
WRXfx@Psi-Fi Motorsport 01-26-2002, 11:33 PM group buy pricing for
17x7-$1225
18x7-$1650
depending on style 17x7 are 19 lbs! these wheels are extremely strong in relation to their weight due to the fabrication process and the material 6061 t6 forged billet aluminum! the same process used on ultra high end wheels such as Fikse/HRE/Kinesis at a fraction of the cost because you are buying direct from the manufacturer...heres a great link to how they are made.

Adamw62 01-27-2002, 12:07 AM Awesome, I was in love with these wheels a while ago when somebody posted but nothing happened with the post. I may be getting a 18" set gotta give it a thought. I'm glad theres a buy going on!
Can we get this wheel?

WRXfx@Psi-Fi Motorsport 01-27-2002, 11:48 AM KCZ sorry that wheel is called the Kruz and it is an audi specific wheel designed and made for another company by INTRO,its very expensive. the group buy is only for The INTRO line of wheels which are the wheels pictured...If you want these wheels get them now as the prices are going up to retail after feb 28th.
17x7 wheels are $1225 for the set of 4(you can get tires at a discount also) plus shipping of $80-$120(in oregon should be closer to the $80-$100 mark but i'll get you an exact delivery figure)
Adamw62 01-27-2002, 12:47 PM WRXfx: You don't have any pictures of a wrx with any set of these wheels mounted do you?
cyanwrx 01-27-2002, 04:51 PM You guys can pick your own offsets. I just read the forums and found out the optimum offset on a 8 width rim is 51 from the superlegga but if you know a better offset, then we can go with that as well
Austin 01-28-2002, 01:36 AM I'm looking for a 16x8" wheel with a 40-42mm offset. Can you do that? You didn't list 16x8 wheels...
cyanwrx 01-28-2002, 03:53 AM We only have a 16*7 no 16*8, but a 16*7 with the right offset will fit your car
Austin 01-28-2002, 08:57 AM Um, yeah... Of course a 16x7 will fit - I have two sets of 16x7 wheels already. I want 16x8 wheels to fit bigger rubber. I'll look elsewhere.
PharmCo 01-28-2002, 04:19 PM Do you have any better pictures of wheels in the diffrent colors? What is your policy if there are fit or return issues? Do you carry other tire brands?
Thanks!

Big_Will 01-29-2002, 07:53 AM Hey,
Can I participate in this group buy if I get these wheels for a non-subaru car with a weird offset?
EDIT: oh yeah, I need them in a 4x100 (i think that's what it is) bolt pattern too.
And just for clarification: everybody in the group doesn't have to buy the same size wheels right?
Thanks.
Will
cyanwrx 01-29-2002, 12:07 PM You can buy them for any car, any offset, and any bolt pattern. Not everyone has to buy the same offset or same style or even the same color. These wheels are custom manufactured for every individual.
paultg 01-29-2002, 01:21 PM Can you find out how much a 16x7 wheel weighs in this style:
http://www.speedimageonline.com/audi/7spoke3.jpg
Questions:
1. Is that the standard finish, or is it powder coated silver with a polished lip?
2. How much does the powder coating add to the weight of the wheel (if you leave the lip polished)?
3. Are center caps included and do they match wheel finish?
4. Do the rims require hub-centric rings or anything like that?
5. Any prices on 16" tires?
Paul G.
dicksosa 01-29-2002, 05:06 PM Any one know how these would compare strength wise to a Volk wheel. Would these be stronger/weaker??
juggalo 01-29-2002, 07:53 PM i am definately interested but i have to wait till i get home to see where i stand on money!
also how fast can these be shipped out to 89131? how much for overnight shipping, ect?
Are these made by Fikse? The reason I ask is because the construction for the Fikse wheels and Intro Forged on their websites are word for word identical.
http://www.fikse.com/inside.html
http://www.introforged.com/wimages/wheels.html
cyanwrx 01-30-2002, 03:49 AM Nope these wheels are not manufactured by Fikse. We use the same materials as Fikse, HRE, and Kinesis. We are an OEM manufacture that have produced rims for Axis, Kinesis, Saleen, MHT, Neeper, Niche, Centerline
paultg 01-30-2002, 07:01 AM Did you get any info on the 16" rims, or get to any of my questions on the 1st page? :D

WillRX 01-30-2002, 07:56 PM I am VERY interested, but I have few questions:
Can you do a 17x7.5 et48 seven spoke? will subaru centercaps fit? Can I get any other tires besides Fokkers? Shipping price to 96816 Hawaii?
Any answers would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

Solidus 01-30-2002, 08:05 PM So where are we at on this whole thing is this group buy gonna

Austin 02-05-2002, 08:24 AM Yeah... Where can I buy that bodykit for my wrx?
cyanwrx 02-05-2002, 10:21 PM I should have the set finished for subaru wrx by friday, and will post pictures. Thanks for your interest
cyanwrx 02-07-2002, 04:27 AM We will have pictures later today. We are fitting a set of Swifts on a white WRX at around 4pm. Will post pictures soon after photo shoot.

cyanwrx 02-08-2002, 12:54 AM After we put the wheels on the car, we found out we needed tuner lugs. More pictures will be shot tommorrow. This is a teaser

WillRX 02-08-2002, 05:07 PM Not to be picky, but is it possible to see a better pic of the aero 5 spoke? Also, if we are going to need "tuner lugs" how much for a set to match the gunmetal? Thanks,
WillRX
JBPolkAudio 02-08-2002, 10:31 PM Can you make a 7.5" wheel?
cyanwrx 02-09-2002, 03:19 AM sorry we don't have a 7.5 wheel?
scotto 02-09-2002, 03:55 AM Cyanwrx,
The swift wheel looks really good. Did you get pictures of the wheels mounted up on the WRX yet? Is that the gun-metal powder coat on that? The picture of the swift facing up, is that polished? Thanks for the additional pics.
Do the swifts and seven spoke wheels weigh the same?
Scott
cyanwrx 02-09-2002, 06:04 PM I should have pictures of the car on the ground on monday
Kenneth2000 02-10-2002, 02:59 PM I like the wheels in the pictures above....
Can you get actual weight on a 17x7 or 17x8 with a 48-55mm offset? Also, what colors are available in that style? i.e. Hyper silver, gun metal, silver, chrome etc.... I'm looking for a "darkish" wheel, but not black.
I thought a forged wheel would be a lot lighter then 19 pounds.....?
Thanks,
Brett
cyanwrx 02-11-2002, 03:55 AM Our wheels are light. We don't cut blocks into the back site like most other aluminum manufactures do. We plan to in the future taking even more weight off those wheels.
JBPolkAudio 02-11-2002, 11:32 AM Do you have any 5 star wheel? If so, could you post some pics?

WillRX 02-11-2002, 05:20 PM Sometimes I think JB and I share a brain long distance...same question....pics of 5-spoke, please

scotto 02-12-2002, 04:57 AM Cyan,
Have you gotten pictures of the Swifts mounted up on the WRX yet? Like to see those for sure, and thanks for posting more pictures of the other wheels.
WillRX 02-12-2002, 07:03 AM Thanks for the pic of the 5 spoke!....decisions decisions:p

JBPolkAudio 02-14-2002, 04:46 PM Is the 5-star rim in the picture you posted above called the KREUZ 5 on the site? Can you tell me how much those weight for 17x8?
Also, when you powdercoat, is it a gossy finish or a flat finish. I was thinking black powdercoat for the center, but don't want a glossy finish.
What size wheels and what offset did you do for the swifts. When you contact the customer, can you ask if he has rubbing issues?
Thanks,
~JB
cyanwrx 02-14-2002, 07:55 PM no no the five spoke i showed you is called the aero. It will be on the website in a few days. The kreuz wheel is different

well, take some pictures of MULTIPLE wheels, not just those mesh ones. Personally, I'd like to see a Silver (most common color).
-C
cyanwrx 02-19-2002, 08:31 AM the powdercoat is not too glossy, it is a very nice metallic, just like other manufactures such as racing hart, or kinesis
scotto 02-19-2002, 06:39 PM Cyanwrx,
Is that nice 7 spoke wheel a Kreuz model? If so is it also forged? If not, is there a lower price for it? What is its weight in a 17"x7"?
This is the same wheel pictured on the first page of this thread?
The way the i-club collective mind works is once we see the wheel on a car we pull out our wallets.. So it will likely be worth it to hunt down that WRX, and get the photos. The other tip I have is: if the wheel is in the $300.00 range, we expect it to be either very light, fairly light and really strong, or average and indestructable + !@##$ beautiful.
cyanwrx 02-20-2002, 02:24 PM Scoto that is not the same wheel. That is a different wheel not included in this groupbuy

NewSuby 02-25-2002, 02:16 PM Still no updated pix of the wheels on the WRX??? Any idea when we'll get to see the pics?
Thanks, I like the look of those 5 spokes. How long will it take to get the rims once the groupbuy is complete?
Thanks,
Erik
cyanwrx 02-25-2002, 06:06 PM if you guys can wait, I have arranged to meet up with that WRx owner on Wednesday to shoot some photos of his car with the Swift wheels
JBPolkAudio 02-25-2002, 07:56 PM Wednesday is cutting it pretty close. I am super interesed though.
I need to know info from the guy though; specifically, what size rim did he get (7" or 8") and what offset he is using AND if there is any rubbing with his tires (size tires would be extremely helpful too).
~JB
cyanwrx 02-26-2002, 01:09 AM he is running a 45 offset on a 8 inch wheel. We can actually go bigger. I am working on another WRx right now, and we are found out that a 40 offset will work on an 8inch wheel, giving the car a huge lip

Way to go on the pictures! Looks sharp! Are those 17" or 18" wheels?
cyanwrx 02-28-2002, 12:09 AM 18*8 with a 48 offset. We have found a 40mm offset to work as well
deeng 02-28-2002, 04:28 AM The problem I see is "What IF" 1 year down the road I destroy a wheel and they don't make that style anymore....can I still get a replacement?
derek
cyanwrx 02-28-2002, 11:00 AM All wheels are replacable. Since the wheels are two piece, instead of buying a new wheel, all you need is to send the wheel back to us. We disassemble the wheel and put a new outer on it. It almost impossible to destroy the center of the wheel. Also all programs can be cut, since they are saved in the computer.
cyanwrx 02-28-2002, 12:30 PM If you guys have any more questions please fell free to email me at vwong@introforged.com
cyanwrx 02-28-2002, 04:17 PM Finally getting some Scobby orders. Thank you guys for having patience with me, and waiting patiently for those photos.
WRXfx@Psi-Fi Motorsport 03-01-2002, 12:41 AM because of the delays in getting the pics up, we have extended the group buy till march 31st!
thanks,
mark
cyanwrx 03-01-2002, 12:43 AM The new offset for the scobby is going to be a 40mm offset on a 8 width wheel to give you guys a bigger lip

WillRX 03-01-2002, 04:18 AM One last question, I swear! Will the 8 inch rim with the 40 offset work for a wagon? We don't have quite as much fender as the sedan. Do you know anyone in the area with a wag that you could test fit? If you do this for me, I promise to buy rims from you. How's that for a deal?
WillRX:D
scotto 03-01-2002, 04:35 AM Thanks for the pictures, and the extra time! Not too concerned about the lip, but a nice option.
cyanwrx 03-01-2002, 10:04 AM WillRX if your fenders are not as wide, then go with the standard 48 offset. You guys can choose any offset you want.
scotto 03-01-2002, 05:33 PM WillRX, Cyan,
I wouldn't mind being the test fit guy. I wouldn't put any money on 8" with 40mm offset for the wagon though. The 8" wheel on a wagon might be very tight, and the offset would have to be dead on. Just a guess. I know some Wagoneers are running 225 tires with no major issues.
WillRX 03-01-2002, 05:44 PM very generous of you scotto! I already have some 225/45s, the only question is whether i put em on 7 7.5 or 8 inch wide 17s. If they'll fit with the 8s, thats my preference. If you're looking at gettin some 8 inchers, I'd be stoked if you could check it out, but i guess its up to cyan;)
Aloha,
WillRX
cyanwrx 03-01-2002, 08:51 PM Well someone needs to bring a wagon to our factory so we can get accurate measurements and figure out what offset we can use on the wagon. Also a 40mm offset on a 8 fits perfect. A 40mm on a 7.5 wheel would stick further out of the fender, and thats what most of the wheels for subaru use with the bigger lips
scotto 03-02-2002, 03:37 AM CyanWRX,
I would be willing to stop by the factory. Email me if you still need a wagon to measure.
cyanwrx 03-02-2002, 07:43 PM Sure Scoto, bring it by and we'll make a custom set of rims to fit your car for you and give you the biggest lip for your wagon.
scotto 03-03-2002, 03:17 PM Cyan,
I am considering these wheels. I said I would be willing to bring the car by to have measurements taken... I care more about proper offset and fitment than lip size.
My criteria are #1 price, #2 quality, #3 weight, #4 proper fitment, #5 style, #6 durability, #7 warranty.
I am now considering 18" wheels as well. I don't think I can afford your 18" wheels even at the group buy prices. I still wouldn't mind bringing the car by for measuring though.
cyanwrx 03-04-2002, 02:37 PM Scoto,
i would not want to waste your time. We already know that a 48mm offset with 8 width will fit the wagons perfectly

how do you know a 48 offset with an 8 inch will fit the wag perfectly? A few days ago you needed a wagon to test fit?

zaidallas 03-06-2002, 07:08 PM Bigger lip you say ?? about time I see an impreza with a big lip wheel . o.k My knowledge in wheel measurement isn't as good as my performance knowledge so please tell me :
If the 8" 40mm offset does get close to rubbing anywhere , where will that be ? for example on a GC8 impreza ? The reason I'm asking is I got very stiff suspension and camber plates and getting fender flares , and need to know what I can do to fit big wheel like that.

Conduit 03-06-2002, 09:10 PM Do you have any pics of the six spoke on a wrx? What about the seven?
Is that a 40mm offset on that VW? Is there absolutely no rubbing whatsoever with this offset in a 8in. wide wheel?
How much does the powdercoating of the center add to the wheel cost?
You mention that they can be custom made to fit larger brake kits. Would the larger sizes (18..19) require any special accomodations to fit the stoptech kit or is there enough space?
Also, on your site, the 19" wheels are listed at 19 lbs, is this, in fact, the case? Or are they 23 as listed on the 1st post of this thread.
Too bad the RS5 isn't part of this, I wouldn't be thinking about it much. Out of curiosity, what is the weight on the RS5 in 17, 18 and 19" sizes?
Sorry for all the questions! :D I'm interested!

cyanwrx 03-07-2002, 02:41 AM Will Rx, a 48mm with a 8 width will fit a wagon fine. We were going to see if a 40mm on a 8 would fit a wagon, but after furthur research, it would be cutting it too close
Conduit 03-07-2002, 07:39 PM Are they certain that there is no rubbing with a 235 width tire using a 40 offset? What about 245? Is fender rolling or fender liner removal required?
Thanks!
It's been two days. Let me make this clear. I am buying these wheels. Please help with these questions :) I have 1900 in hand for them, k?

I can tell you that with a +40 offset, you will not rub UNLESS you are lowered. Then, you WILL RUB. There is no way I can see that you wouldn't, the tires are exteded right to the edge of the fenderwall with that offset. You would have to roll or cut your fender wall (although, I'm not even sure what is involved with that).

Conduit 03-08-2002, 11:25 AM Thanks, I'll do that!
LehighWRX 03-13-2002, 01:31 PM My wheels are on their way!! There are 18x 8 with +40offset.
I am getting H&R Coilovers too and so I will have the luxury of adjusting the height of the car to avoid rubbing.
JBPolkAudio 03-13-2002, 01:36 PM When did you order them, and what style did you get?
Can't wait to see what ride height works the best, keep us updated!

DV Motorsports 03-20-2002, 02:22 AM I am very interested in the 7 spoke on the VW and the 6 spoke as well...they are available for this groupbuy right?
Thanks
David
