so i'm in my stock 2.5i today at a red light when i hear a very nice rumble, just what i like to hear. i see it is an 04 sti heading my way. the dude pulls up next to me, and at IDLE, my car begins to completely shake from the tone of his exhaust. then when the light turned green i had my music up to "31" on the stock headunit and i could hear his exhaust over my radio

Thats how my car sounded with my new built engine with a PDE catted DP and 3" exhaust. I had to revert to my Borla Hush to quiet it a little.

My neighbors they used to be really nice two of them even came over the day I brought my STi home to complement me on it. But ever since I put my Invidia Catless TBE on my car they don't like it anymore as much. Especially on those cold mornings. Still loud FTW!! :devil:

You read that wrong. I have the catback, but I need to get the DP. Not sure on which one becaust the RSR Ex Mag GT 2 comes with an adapter pipe.
So I think I need a longer Dp

^^^ This bothers me. I often have the same experience. You'll hear them complaining about how rude and disrespectful our generation is (not that i can fault them, really), but when they see fellow scooby owners being friendly and waving, they act like we're something scraped off the bottom of their shoes. If you think that's loud, you need to go to a dragstrip sometime. I always though turbo cars were much quieter than most everything else there.;)

my coworkers hear my car start up if its parked next to the building, and they think its some guy on a bike:) i dont think my neighbors like my car, but hey... 1 has a harley with drag pipes, and the others have dirtbikes... they cant complain too much.
