HECK YEAH! We have been busy! Jeff will get an update going ASAP. He has posted in other threads, but we need to get some cross posting going in here too!

To keep you tided over. There are a few things here to look at. Also we have done the inlet hose install, and dyno results, for it and the intake. All posted here on NASIOC, just not in the project section. READ HERE ON MY BLOG!!

While not a fair statement and you have a point that we need to alert folks more frequently. Sorry for that. A BIG event is happening between my EVO X and Jeff's 08 STI on the 28th! We will certainly post videos etc. very soon. I will also POKE at Jeff to publish a bit more info here!

Teaser pics and video of the sti exhaust was released back in december...... its now almost july and nothing. Hell the only thing on your website thats 08sti only parts is a rear swaybar and antenna!

Now I'm not bashing perrin performance and met jeff down at sema 2 years ago (he is a very nice guy). Also had alot of perrin stuff on my old 05sti...... I guess I'm trying to light a fire under you guys to get more stuff out.

I drove by the shop the other day on my way to work and couldn't stop. but i saw a black roof on this car while it was in the parking lot (also looked like a black spoiler but not sure). so i just wanted to know if someone came up with a CF roof or he just painted it black for the look? thanks i am really interested in getting a CF roof so i hope someone does one since it took so long for me to find someone who made one for the GD.

Sorry to disappoint, but yes its vinyl! Vinyl comes off which is important for when the car goes up for sale as not everyone likes it. The black roof i think really adds to some of the cars contrasting colors. We thought about CF, or a big wrap or lots of things, but the new M3 was what inspired us to do the roof. Why did you come in and say hi? We are not that scary! :)

sorry Jeff, i have been in before but i only headed out a few min earlier for work since i had to pay rent and that went faster than i expected, who knew the bank would be in such a hurry to take my money these days :) i actually almost expected to see lines of people taking all there money out of the bank, like there cash isn't federally insured.

and i also like the look of white with a black roof, there is a guy at intel who has a white evo with a cf hood, roof, trunk, and spoiler, but the sides of the spoiler are white and it looks great!

now the real question is then, can you do a full CF roof replacement for the 08? i have found one for the 04-07 but not the 08 yet. thanks

How much lighter would a CF roof be?

If you went to the trouble of taking OEM roof off, could you weld in a hoop behind the front seats that is welded to the OEM cross member in the roof and down to the floorboard. The hoop could have a cross member for 4 point restraints. Would this arrangement provide more structural rigidity over a bolt in 4 point bar?

What would a lexan roof with a vinyl overlay look. You could have a moon roof of sorts.

Prototype or not that's sexy
